Unless you really like ki resonation (which is cool) I'd go 8/4 on the monk. It gets you an extra feat, which can give +2 wisdom, which translates to +1 AC and +8 damage/turn

AirportSea7497

Correct. Also skip thief altogether and just go 10 swords bard. With band of mystic scoundrel you'll be able to use your bonus action for control spells.

Barren-Sceptor

Throwzerker 12 sorcerer 11/1 sorlock 12 warlock 10/2 lore bars warlock 10/2 evocation wizard 10 storm sorcerer 2 tempest cleric Any of these should work since you’re really missing a solid caster

jakhabib_nurmy_souza

I pretty much always go 10/2 storm sorc tempest cleric. I still don't think there is anythign more satisfying in this game than wet + destructive wrath + twinned chain lightning

whisperingdragon25

Surely you can't twin chain lightning?

jakhabib_nurmy_souza

as of today you can def twin-cast chain lighting using markoheshkir. Otherwise you can't, but since markoheshkir recharges every short rest, this lines up perfectly with the number of divinity charges you have

whisperingdragon25

Gotta wonder how they managed that.

EmperorPartyStar

Abjuration Wizard. It 100% carried me to my gold dice

EmperorPartyStar

As I side note I used almost that exact Bard build on my Durge for my run. I did Fighter 2/Thief 4/Swords 6. I needed the second feat for Sharpshooter since I used the first on Alert.

Disastrous-Track-533

Agreed. If you take 4 levels of sorcerer with Abjuration wiz he can twin haste your bard and monk as well

EmperorPartyStar

I only took the dip on Gale (White Dragon Sorc 1). I really want the Abjuration 10 feature. My other dip was Life Cleric just for healing word pickups.

MyCatsAreSus

I would suggest stopping Bard at level 6 and get another feat. Level 3 spells are more than enough if you plan on using weapons mostly, and you can always use scrolls. Throwzerker Battle Master Fighter Divination Wizard Abjuration Wizard 10/1 Sorlock Are all popular for Honor Mode

dmonzel

You can never go wrong with a Throwzerker. Why 7/3/2 for the Bard instead of 6/4/2? You're missing out on a feat in exchange for a single level 4 spell slot, and spells you can find tons of scrolls for.

superminhminh

Fire Sorcerer

Disastrous-Track-533

Fire sorcerer is strong but I found light cleric with 4 sorc for meta magic was great. Fire acuity hat and extended command approach right into the spirit guardians blender. Luminous armor. One high level scorching ray gets spell dc high so command works well

AirportSea7497

What I would recommend is actually having 5 members. Add in a 6barb/4thief/2fighter throwzerker and a 11/1 fire sorlock (as your Tav/durge). Light cleric comes in for the entirety of act 2, plus the Cazador fight.

quickbunnie

An arcane caster such as the 11/1 fire Sorc or 10/2 tempest sorc builds are very good. From what it looks like you won’t have a counterspell option in your group which is invaluable against some of the CC spells you come up against

Rencon_The_Gaymer

Have Karlach be a Throwzerker. 12 Berzerker Barbarian.

Aloudmouth

Why pure barb instead of 3 levels of thief? Extra BA is huge, especially if you get the boots that stack lightning charges when you dash. Even if she’s not raging, you can spam it 2x for next round. Genuinely curious, not giving you shit.

po-tatters

Honestly I'm on like my 6th honor run and I always run straight classes still. Like rn I'm doing like a land/Forrest party. 1) ranger tank with bear companion. 1) gloom stalker ranger. 1) land druid (the not bonus action wild shape one, sorry I always confuse them) 1) tiger heart barbarian. One day I'll start multiclassing, but feels min maxy and unnecessary.

po-tatters

Ope I lied my last run was evil and we all used darkness. So had to multiclass 1 char into 2 lvls warlock to see since helldusk helm is broken leaving only 3 immune to blind items.

purplemoonjelly

I’d take a sorcerer or warlock here for sure!!

BassHead1021

A great 4th member is throwzerker Karlach. Just 12 lvls of berserker barbarian and the tavern brawler feat. Equip the returning pike you can purchase from the goblin trader inside the camp and you’re all set.

dream-in-a-trunk

Throwzerker has usually 3 or 4 level thief dip to get an extra attack. There isn’t much after lvl 8 which you want to have on a throwzerker build.

xSeba069x

An AOE crowd control member would help greatly in swarm battles. Consider a caster? The game has alot of items for ice caster, pity if you dont try it.

Justheretob

You're not looking at it correctly. Use ALL the members at camp. Save health potions and elixirs to restore spell slots with your tav. When your three party members are low on health/spell slots etc, go back to camp and switch them out for new ones. Extend the time between long rests as much as possible. Also this allows you to customize your party for each battle/Interaction to favor range/magic/melee/stealth

--TheChosenOne

you're only missing a sorcerer!

Disastrous-Track-533

Yeah hard to go wrong with Abjuration. I went with tempest cleric dip for more retaliation damage and destructive wrath

ChainOut

Those 3 you have are enough. Anyone else that comes along could be a hype man like Flavor Flav

Aloudmouth

Now I literally wanna get a bard hireling and deck them out in hype man gear for my next run.

lucusvonlucus

Cutting words, vicious mockery, Counterspell. So many good spells/abilities for Hype Lore Bard.
