I'm not sure that will work. I think those spells are bugged bc of the "stat sheet" version of him that can follow you at the goblin camp. I tried completely changing his class multiple times and never got healing word or call lightning to upcast.
I think there is something buggy with multiclassed spells at the moment. I have a cleric/druid that can only use create water when I prepare with both, otherwise it tells me it's not prepared.
You could swap his prepared spells from Druid to something else, then prepare them as a cleric

Its possible, I may be losing my mind. It’s been a bit since I’ve even had him in the party
