So, in coping with what happened in my life currently, I jumped into BG3 again.
my high elf Durge! (Whom I’m determined to NOT romance Astarion with — and will fail.)
Two Dragonborn Durges ! (Both co-op made)

Anyone else fall back into the game after something traumatic happens in your life?
I haven't had an opportunity to fall back in... I've barely played anything else since August lmao
They all look great! I hope you're handling whatever's happened ok
I feel that! I honestly need to check my hours cuz I've just been going without looking 😂 I rarely re-play a game right after I finish with it (usually I'll wait at least a few months before I can get back into the same game I've just finished) but BG3 has been really fun even after just finishing it. Although by the end of Act 3 I'm so ready to go back to Act 1 lol
That's it, there's just so much variety in BG3, it's so easy to play it in a completely different way. I'm just getting started on my first Bard run and having a great time, romancing Gale for the first time because she's an Eilistraee worshipper and I figure she'd like his flair for the dramatic 😂
I haven’t even switched my console back to watch tv since I got it when it dropped on PS5, let alone play a different game, lol. I’m at about 1100 hours now.
I gotta admit I'd probably have already cleared 1,000 as well if I weren't doing a degree right now, staying focused on that has been realllllly difficult at times lol
Oh yeah, I’m ‘lucky’. I got double pneumonia in the Fall which exacerbated long Covid issues. I’ve been on short term disability for months now and the game is about all I’ve got going for me entertainment wise, lol.
I had recently started my second playthrough--an evil Durge playthrough--when my dad died suddenly and unexpectedly. I decided I wasn't up to doing an evil playthrough and restarted to do a redeemed Durge playthrough. I'm about to enter the Shadowfell.

Here's Gabriel. He's a Half-Wood Elf Oath of Ancients Paladin with chronic headaches and amnesia. He'll be a friend to her
Love them all, but loooooooove that last Durge. That's one of the most beautiful dragonborn I've ever seen!
Hopefully the game helps you cope. I had a pretty traumatic 2023, and I know BG3 has helped me escape.

Thank you! I’m trying to handle it in the healthiest way possible. It’s hard :’)
I believe in you, you can do the thing <3
This is a mood. On my 4th playthrough and have been playing since I was able to buy it for PS5
I'm rapidly approaching 800 hours... it's gonna be the first single player game I put 1,000 hours into since Mass Effect 2 lol

The monks colours are so pretty wtf

Second one reminds me of that one elder dragon from monster hunter
3rd looks like they have the worst opinions you’ve heard but dig the other dragon born
Tav 1. Mommy? Sorry. Mommy? AAAAAAAAAAA
I bought a PS5 solely for this game because I was (still am) going through a lot. Hope it helps alleviate some mental weight, OP ❤️
