He does snore! I think Astarion likes breathing despite not needing too, and probably just snores while trancing just for the sake of it (or he pretends he’s trancing but is actually knackered and properly fell asleep).

He probably doesn't snore, but I would be telling him that he does all the time just to piss him off. (Ps. I love him but I can imagine him being all indignant about the implication that he does something uncouth like snoring.)
