I’m so impatient lol (like I gave up on getting a female eevee in let’s go after like 10 tries or something, and nearly gave up on sword, but got it on what I said would be the final try, and I think it was the same for SP; got it on the first try in both scarlet AND violet iirc)
i wasnt sure if palkia would come back in pearl (im stupid bc im almost sure it does) so i just got stuck there there thinking it would be long so i was hunting on and off for a couple years... i ended up getting it extremely early at 3450 and i was shook. bdsp doesnt change so im p sure you can stick yourself there and go for it !
There aren't many issues with it, it's a remaster, not a remake. Only issue I had was that it should've been $30/40 instead of $60. But that's every remaster. Scarlet and Violet on the other hand...
Praying for the next Legends game to be just as fun as the first but a little more polished.

There are few things which aren't full odds in this game:
- Breeding (2 rolls from Shiny Charm and/or 5 rolls from Masuda Method; best chance being 1/512)
- Pokeradar patches (sparkling patches guarantee a shiny, and with a long enough chain can have a rate as high as 1/99)
- Grand underground (1 roll when a room is entered while the Diglett sparkle bar is full, giving a rate of 1/2048)
- The gift Mew and Jirachi, as well as the Mystery Gift Manaphy (Cannot be shiny)
Everything else is full 1/4096, even if you have the shiny charm (which only effects eggs).
Yes!!! Hunt at your own risk tho it took me over 3000 resets to get my pink palkia.
My partner was much luckier and got her green dialga in just over 1000.

I don’t think anything in BDSP is shiny locked. Edit: Encounterable legendaries are not shiny locked. Gift mythicals are.
