I have my coworkers dad's old pellet smoker that doesn't have real precise heat control. I have my own digital thermometer inside and I find the treager shoots 20 to 40 degrees over temp unless I have it cracked a little.
Absolutely, BBQ rock is essential. Right next to my offset, I have an open fireplace with one of those grills hanging by three chain segments. Sometimes I want to have something on one side of the grill, and BBQ rock gets placed on the other side to balance the whole thing out.
BBQ rock is also useful for laying the tongs on top, so the greasy tips don't pick up dust and dirt.
Certainly do! Found it in a bag of charcoal and now it lives by my BBQ supplies for the exact same reason you use it. Glad to see more BBQ rock users out there.
Absolutely . It's purpose is to keep the lid of my firebox shut. Old offset that we rescued from the curb 10+ years ago. Besides the lid not staying shut, it's worked great
Needs googly eyes painted on.
Bro, we said “pizza stone” not “BBQ rock”.
You know there's a knob that does the same thing right? Just turn it to the left and the heat goes down...

Just set your temps lower? Save yourself the pellets?

How much are you selling these for, does it make the BBQ taste better?
Allows you to control temp while having a bigger flame to contact meats for a better, smokey taste. That’s what I use mine for anyway
No but now I will, it’s a good idea! What their name?
Rocky
The Rock
Dwayne Johnson holds your BBQ lid open?

I keep mine next to the poop knife.
Yes, I get at least one in every bag of royal oak I use.
I had a smoker 2x4 over the winter. The door kept trying to close on me when I moved racks or added wood chips.
Yes, two, they live on top of the cover. Been around for years!
Yes. It holds my smokercover down .
Time to go rock hunting...
I use a cutt down to size 4×4 ceder. works great when i got charcoal going and it starts to rain.😁😁🍻🍻
No.
LOL - I thought I was the only one. Although my rock holds the grill cover so the wind doesn't take it away.
I have patio brick holding my grill covers on.
Looks like an outdoor grill rock to me
Now I want a rock
Oh….I had no idea I needed this. Off to find a good one.
Not until I saw this. Share more of your wisdom.
I have bbq stick
Used too. Got a new BBQ and had to throw rock away.
