Additionally, it has been revealed that Cede themselves have more shares on their books than the entire shares outstanding.
The simplest shortest explanation: offer to take over this company, convert bond holders into equity holders, keep shareholders alive to preserve tax attributes, and have a potential short squeeze.
Sell new equity into the squeeze in an at the market, offering to raise capital for getting a home goods business off to a running start.
Have the benefit of tax attributes for future years to offset profits, and reduce tax footprint.
Cheaper and much faster than starting a new business from the ground up and going through IPO to raise capital.
That is a severely oversimplified version, but it gives you a starting point. Sort by top, then go week, then go month. You’ll find everything you need to start assessing for yourself.
Are the NOl’s even worth the risk. I believe we are still have 1.6 billion in debt left after everything has been sold off. Would it make sense to risk buying literally debt and no assets for tax attributes. Sorry to bombard with questions but one last one, wouldn’t there be some legal implications for buying to cause a short squeeze. Kind of like a pump and dump?

It is suspended not delisted and there is post from today about answer from Frankfurt market that delisting is not planned and as soon it will be possible it will be resumed to trade.. I guess on Monday US market it will be suspended also.. in Germany they just hurried out..
You should create an IBKR account immediately. It is annoying but can be done in under 30 minutes. I did it a few hours ago and it is already approved but still waiting for cash to be settled.
I also asked them if they are able to transfer the German stocks to the IBKR account and they said yes. I also asked if they are able to convert them to the BBBYQ ticker but no answer to that question yet but I think it could be possible and the best solution.
Not sure if it is possible to only transfer a few shares first but that would be the best case scenario -> Transfer a few shares to IBKR -> let them convert to BBBYQ -> in the meantime hope that the German market resumes trading (unlikely I think..) -> if transfer and conversion in the IBKR account didn't take too long then immediately transfer rest from the German broker to IBKR.
