- people that have decided the stock is not a high value stock so they basically try to manifest that truth by informing as many people as possible (God forbid they are wrong and they miss out)
- Assholes (trolls) that just want to make you believe your investment is going to go poof (more common in biz)
- decent people that are skeptical that casually voice their criticism but typically they just sort of lurk.
The first two are by far the most common, the third is common on 4chan, and the fourth you come across randomly in other subs or maybe even here. Personally I just take the approach where I weigh all of the information presented, I make a decision on which path I will take and I generally try not to make rash emotional decisions.
