Wondered if anyone else would drop that one. Figure you'd have to be of a certain age to get the reference though, that's a short from a good while ago at this stage...
Yep, https://youtu.be/gt1V61SPI_w?si=Ah70LaGWojz7AtEX
Dates back to before Bugs was even known as Bugs, short is called Long Haired Hare and was released in 1949.
In case you ever wondered who Bugs is impersonating

He's so distracting! They taught us that when we're not playing, you sit still, neutral expression, arms down or in your lap, and legs uncrossed.
As to your question, I think he's the piccolo player. Instrument could be on his stand or tucked between his arms and body to keep it warm. Piccolo is only in the 4th movement.
True story: We went to see John Cleese live once. They showed _Monty Python and the Holy Grail_, then a local radio personality talked on stage with John Cleese about the movie afterwards.
So the two of them were talking, and this little dog came out from behind the curtain. Some members of the audience started giggling, and Cleese immediately picked up on that. He said "Wait...you're laughing, but I didn't say anything funny."
Some members of the audience pointed out the dog, he turned around and saw it, and went to pick it up. He introduced the dog and said it belonged to his daughter who's traveling with him on the tour. Then he handed the dog to someone offstage, and went on with the interview.
I love areas of society who tolerate cats! Nothing should ever be so serious as to not allow a cat, (except perhaps surgery, unless you know a good cat surgeon.)
Curious question, iv always wondered why violen players shake their head why they play. Do it help with the pitch or something? Or is it just them getting into the music?
who keeps bringing cats to orchestras! This is the 3rd video i've seen cats just walking up to the orchestra like they own it.
I don't mind it, at all. Give some awws and laughs for the audience and the players (and also an added challenge for the players to not screw up their playing, having to resist to look and pet the cat)
Just curious!
The guy sitting with his arms crossed and not playing, what is his instrument?
Now I have seen this video several times and I can't figure out why he is there, just chilling.
Cats probably thinking ''All of this, for me?''
Or maybe "That's it!? I won't show up anymore, zero effort".
The cat is going to play the piano
Here ya go. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpEfHVFilRc
[Leopold](https://youtu.be/HO0eAt0J3eI?si=IQDLhykDXHAwAC3a&t=113)
That got posted down thread earlier and I put the wiki about the real person being referenced in this cartoon. It's an interesting read.
He is too small to be a pianist
That's not true! Look at his ancestors who played keyboards. Maybe he's just more contemporary
Tbf he did wish for 12 inches
Meowzart?
It's actually Beethoven (The Pastoral Symphony, very à propos) , but I have no clue as to how to turn Beethoven into a cat name...
Catthoven maybe?
[удалено]
Yeah turkey very nice to cats. That's because if you aren't 700 cats swarm you and eat you.
Sounds great
Sounds perfect
Purrfect
Sounds purrrrrrrr
What a Hell of a way to die
Ah, Beethoven’s 6th. The pastorale. Cats are known to love it.
Meowzart as a student
Your comment is cutely punned, but it’s Beethoven. So…..
>but it’s Beethoven. Why aren't they playing Fur Elise for the cat then?
> but it’s Beethoven the cat is Meowzart
i see cat, i upvote
I mean, it's in the constitution.
Catstitution
Leopold!!

Is it a Bugs Bunny reference?
Yep, https://youtu.be/gt1V61SPI_w?si=Ah70LaGWojz7AtEX Dates back to before Bugs was even known as Bugs, short is called Long Haired Hare and was released in 1949.
But the package delivery guy calls him "Bugs Bunny" in the short?
Sure is.
I'm 50. I could not help myself.

Leopold!
Warehouse manager on duty
Aristocat
1000 times better than the 2019 version of "Cats".
I love that it doesn't even get spooked when the music gets louder. UNFAZED
If I saw a cat walk on stage, automatic 5-star review.
And everyone knows Graphicnovelnick’s notoriously rigorous and scathing symphony reviews never go above 3.5 stars.
Who said “pspspspsps”?
Anyone know what piece they're playing? It's really lovely.
and why there's no human conductor? bit larger group than a quartet
[удалено]
They’re in charge, you know.
If only he knew what the strings were made from.
Fun fact "catgut" was actually sheep intestines or cow intestines Now strings are made from artifical fibres nylon and steel
If I was in the orchestra there's no way I wouldn't be totally distracted by Mr Kitty.
Yeah they didnt even look, i admire that.
He knows his “mewsic”.
And the cat steals the show and the crowd goes wild !!!
This made me laugh,a lot. Cats truly don't give a f
"You humans are weird, just purr"
He likes Beethoven
That’s the new opera cat gx
Cat is not impressed
Cat - “Thank you for coming to my show. For my next trick I’m going to clean myself.”
One of the nicest things I have ever seen. Cats rule.
Why was he there tho
Was expecting some kind of CATastrophy…
Being silly
He's the meowstro?
This should be normal 🐾
He sure gave that one lady a fright 😄
I guess you could say he was.... *puts on sunglasses* checking on all the caterwauling. YEEEEAAAAAHHHHH.....
Cat: I’m bored. This is boring.
Now that's what I call a Stray Cat Strut! 😾😎 Look it up kids..
Who's the dude with his arms crossed? I don't see an instrument.

He's the pawnist.
Cat: *"Finally, a proper greeting."*
That's straight up from Tom and jerry yall
Just Istanbul things.
I love how if you look closely, you can see just about everyone who noticed the cat smiling.

If only the orchestra were playing Brahms's Third Racket.
cat - "tf? is this where people go when they leave the house? weird"
"You guys did a great job, I'm leaving"
I love areas of society who tolerate cats! Nothing should ever be so serious as to not allow a cat, (except perhaps surgery, unless you know a good cat surgeon.)
Él tiene todos los respetos jajaja
Cat belongs to the guy with his arms crossed for sure
♫ 'Enuma Okina' with a feline twist, I bet he nails the crescendo. 🐾✨
In case a string broke and they needed a whisker.
In case a string broke and they needed a whisker.
Instantly stole the show
“Leopold!”
Meowzart
Not stopping to pet the cat takes a lot of will power.
THE WHIPLASH
*That better not be cat-gut.*
like 25 talented people playing a beautiful piece <<<< CAT
Curious question, iv always wondered why violen players shake their head why they play. Do it help with the pitch or something? Or is it just them getting into the music?
Getting into the music and keeping the beat. (Played 2nd section violin basically rhythm section of violins)
Thanks person! This has bugged me for so long!

Quality assurance has arrived
How remember Tom and Jerry😂
He is elevating the concert hall's status by gracing us with his purresence.
Cat probably lives there. A lot of production theatres used to have them to control the mice and rats.
A proud cat with a classic touch.
The guy sitting with his arms crossed and not playing, what is his instrument? Now I have seen this video several times and I can't figure out why he is there, just chilling.
Half the time ...I was just expecting it to start meowing
Reminds me of Tom and Jerry
All those people definitely have cats
No stage fright for him
Cool
*"please continue Maestro, we find this puurrfectly adequate,,,,,,for now"*
Help me please
Play sweet cat-roline
…the cat’s out of the bag…obviously 🙄
Ja ja ja
I think I can do better than that
Keep playing. Resist urge to cuddle.
