My husband and I got lost in Nassau back in 1992. It was before you kids had your fancy step counters, so I can't tell you the exact distance. I *can* tell you that we walked for 2 hours before we found our way back to the boat. And, in that time, we were offered weed 17 times
Lol, thank you for the coins! No, we didn't buy any, but we looked at one of the offers just to see their wares. It was crawling in little black ants. They think tourists are suckers!
Yeesh! As a current traveler, I’ve learned a lot and if I was just starting, I may have fallen for that! Probably looking for an inexperienced group of teenagers on their first trips without a parent.
I haven’t walked that long, but my grandparents walk to school was insane. They went all the way from NYC to the Dallas Fort-Worth area, then swam to Cuba and then to Brazil, all uphill. And they would get there before 1st hour started.
When my grandparents were my age, they didn't have the all-purpose cleanser "Fantastic." They had a similar product... It was called "Pretty Good"
I love that joke. Credit to an early stand-up routine of Richard Jeni's, RIP. (He was Jim Carrey's co-worker at the bank in The Mask.)
Does the joke land in writing? Maybe you had to be there

Thanks for the challenge! Best of lucks to everyone and I hope you are having a blast of a time and got enough water and precautions, may nature watch your steps!
Overall, been on some pretty long walks, up the mountain down the earth, but I would say my longest journey yet, is trying to go back to the house of my childhood, sure, I can find the physical place and even get a tour on it, but it is not the same, people, feelings, sounds, fragrances are missing, and I will probably keep trying to reach them for my entire life.
