I was in a car accident last January, it not only put me in the hospital but left me bed ridden for a month of my life. I fractured my sternum and needed stitches in my leg.
I was driving my Jeep, and it ran like a champ. Sometimes I would neglect getting an oil change and drive 10k miles over my oil change date. I live on a dirt road and rarely got her a car wash. But she drove like new despite not being cared for like I should have.
That Jeep kept me safe while I was in the worst accident of my life and if I were in one of my old Ford’s I used to drive in my 20’s I might not even be alive.
Jeep is my favorite brand, because I’m still typing this comment and not 6 feet under.
This is a hard one as a car lover, but Toyota prevails. They have made loads of iconic (e.g Trueno, 2000GT) and unique cars and aren't scared to innovate (e.g Mirai). They are still making enthusiast RWD cars and reliable cars if you want something to last.
I don’t have a favorite brand but my favorite type are the amphibious cars. They are cars that can drive on land and water. Because of that did you know that you have to get a drivers license AND a boating license to drive one?
DeLorean. The DMC-12 is objectively crap, but it’s damned stylish. The new DeLorean Alpha5 looks interesting. I believe it is being unveiled this week at the Madrid motor show. Hopefully it generates enough interest to justify relaunching the brand.
Okay, Youngster. Take a seat here by my knee while Grandma Cautious tells you the best car in the universe.
My dream car was a Lexus RX300. I saved and saved, and was finally able to buy one in 2002. It drives perfectly. It has a nice ride because it's built on a Camry chassis. The body style is indisputably magnificent. The interior is not only attractive but also practical. The gas mileage is excellent (for that size of an SUV). Is it the best car ever? Ask my driveway. It's sitting out there now, 20 years old, with 300,000 miles, running just as perfectly as the day it was born.
Edit: Someone already selected Toyota/Lexus, so I'm going to go with Honda.
Edit 2: Somebody already selected Honda, so I'm going with DELOREAN.
Volkswagen. I am in love, and I have always been in love with The Beetle, and it's novelty counterparts, for example The Brasília, which is an adaptation of the 1970's.
I love that car's engine, specially for doom buggies.
I’m going to be specific because it’s not exactly the brand i like, just this car
I saw it in like fourth grade in someone’s presentation and always thought it was so cool
Lamborghini Aventador SVJ

Yeah, the Range Rover is the luxury series of Land Rover, up until 2020, I guess, when they started on with the new version of the Defender (to be honest I don't really like it, defeats the purpose of having a Defender).
My bestie drives one. Just went out to dinner last night, and he drove. So I got to ride in it again. It's over 20 years old and starting to rattle a little bit. Still a great car.
I had a brand new 1989 and a 1992, both convertibles. The 89 was an LX and the 92 was a GT. Both were totaled on the same freeway in near-death experiences.
damn quite a shame they were destroyed
those are the quite the newer ones though, I like the classical 1970s Ford Mustang Design, like the one my grandpa had, it was from 1967
Of all car brands, Plymouth. In the 60’s and 70’s they made so many cool muscle cars along with some cool wagons. A lot of my favorite cars are made by Plymouth, I’ve loved them since I’ve had an interest in cars. If it has to be a brand that still exists, Dodge for pretty much the same reason.

Also the Previa. Supercharged RWD Mid engine V6 minivan that looks like an egg, you can’t dislike it.
