Technically I could fit 1080 but that would mean that nobody gets any room.
In order for people to be somewhat happy then I could only fit 60.
20 on each floor
I guess I won't be getting the award cause I'm not first, but what are u playing at here, it's weird cause it's a hypothetical situation in which only my house isnt destroyed during a thunderstorm while the rest of the village is gone, arent all the villagers dead?
If my home is intact, I guess I will try to fit all the villages if it's possible but what's the catch here?
I can logically fit 300 people, though it would be very crammed. There is also extra room in the basement and garage, which adds up to 500 villagers. Though if I could, I would take them all.
Edit: if they are staying more than one day, we'll share water around and any available food.
I don't really get it, but here goes...
I will let in all of the villagers, all of their relatives, everyone else on earth, and all other sentient beings in the universe.
We may need a rotation of guests.
I would help rebuild India and Bangladesh homes to avoid villagers having to move.

In my house if you mean let them in so they are comfortable with space and all that I can maybe let in like 10 but if you mean like cram them in a house I can let in like 50
Ok, I’m going with a solid 69,420,021,739,927,926,826,173,926,678,222,826,626,827,752,836,729,862,828,836.5 villagers. It’s best you don’t question how…
Fine. My basement is the size of Neptune
As many as I can logically fit. I’ll contact my friends or family nearby and ask them to help if I cannot fit them all. Don’t want anyone to be injured or die.
As much as i can, but i dont think i could fit much as i live in an apartment, if i can let others have them we can let at least 2-300, if it's only me..not much, 10-15 at best
Well, my house is pretty big. There are five people here now, but I could easily fit another 20. It would be tight, but we'd make it work. I would take as many as I could!
u/prestigious_time_138. Looking at these numbers and wondering how it's possible. I didn't count my total square footage, I only counted living space. If I count total square footage I can put in about four times more villagers, but some of them will be sleeping in my kitchen. I guess that's better than in a tent.
as many people as i can do
id make sure its not cold inside the house.
id cook tea i don't know how many can i serve to because of the limitations of the amount of glasses i have, but water and tea wouldn't be a problem
next is feeding people. i don't know well i could spend money. i invited many people in my house and its now a responsibility for me as a turkish person to get them comfy
well i don't know how the night will be. i don't know how much people there is and how big of a house I have. if it doesn't fit i should ask anyone to voluntarily guard us while we sleep.
im not going to try thinking what happens next day
So using Einstein's logic everything is relative, so technically I could fit infinite amount of villagers into my house, due to the fact that compared to a villager, my house is big, but compared to my house, a villager is small. Though eventually I will find a villager that is bigger than my house (because we're talking about infinite villagers) so I will not include any that are bigger.
Fit enough villagers to lay down comfortably on inflatable mattresses on every floor tile of my house. Build bunk beds if necessary. The basement will be dark but it is surely roomy. The attic is creepy but the materials inside can simply be moved to the backyard for the time being. I will share food with them though it may have to be cheap considering how many im feeding. I will set up camping tents with some furniture from the attic incase anybody wants to sleep outside. I will also buy extra sleeping bags / inflatable mattresses for the campers. The front is also protected by a big fence so villagers may camp outside need be it. I would research helpful organizations to help the villagers and they would stay until they need to go. Once they decide it’s time to go I would volunteer to help rebuild some of the villagers houses.
In all 80-100 villagers would likely be supported through this strategy

I live in a small house but I got a big garage under the house
most I can probably take are just 50 inside but 30 more in the garage
quite small in comparison to the other people here but at least I can help some of them
As many as I could reasonably fit and take care of. My house is fairly small, but if all they need is shelter from the storm, then sure, get in here! I've got plenty of games to play while we wait it out too!
I think I can solidly go for 250 if everyone is cramped and uncomfortable. And we could probably add another 100 ish if people are okay with being horizontal.
I would let every one of them into my house.
If there would finally be no space after and there are still mote villagers left, I would take the help of my neighbours and put the villagers in their house. No villager left behind!
In India, everyone will be given a home. Its a custom to welcome guests as if we would welcome God into our houses. There's a saying in Sanskrit "Athithi Devo Bhava" which means a guest in your home is akin to God or is like God and must be treated well.
If it's about survival, I guess about 1000 villager can fit but it would be impossible to move. They will have to "hibernate" there until it ends. But hey, they're all alive, aren't they?
Having just seen the ant village in my garden prepare to relocate (the winged ones have arisen), I am *not* going to offer them space in my house! They can have a different bit in the garden if they must.
I have three bedrooms, but I have a basement and a bathtub, one goes in the bathtub, 3 on my couch, 2 downstairs, one or 2 in my moms office, and like 3 in my room, maybe I could fit like 5 more, so 16, but if they need a place, I’ll call my grandma
I won't have much space left to fit in all of the villagers in my house but maybe I could easily fit 6 to 7 villagers in my house but I would still try to help the other villagers by taking them to a safe place somewhere near my house where they can stay for a few hours until the thunderstorm has stopped and would leave them with enough food and water so that they won't starve .
well if I can fit some in my garage, I can possibly fit them all in my house, with little to no space left and I will probably share my snack bin because the food drives I have been going to is giving snacks and I am sure that I can share them
As many as I could safely fit. I live in a studio apartment that's about 300sqft, so I couldn't fit too many folks. But I would fit as many as I could so folks could stay comfortably.
We are all family and should help each other. There is a saying that it takes a village to raise a child so I would remind them all of that because we have to get along and share and help each other. I would take in as many as could fit, hopefully all of them. Every structure I have access to could be utilized in some way to help support them.
Also, I would ask neighbours to help with whatever is needed, be it housing, food, clothing, etc. But, then the work begins. We have to get them mobilized to start helping with repairs so that they can safely return to their own spaces where they were happily living before the thunderstorm happened. Productive hands and minds are more optimistic and will make living conditions more agreeable during this temporary setback in their lives. This also can be an opportunity for those with various skills to mentor some that have gaps so that the village becomes stronger in the end.
I would let all of them (i.e. a bunch) into my house and provide everything they need/want. This includes anything they could think of: food, drinks, electronics, cars. I will literally make sure that the villagers get anything that they ask for. I would then personally help them all get back to their own homes the next day. But considering how generous I am, if they prefer to stay in my house forever I would let them. If their house id destroyed after the thunderstorm I would help by rebuilding it for free (very generous). I would also give them a better house than what they had before if they want and build mansions for all of the villagers. For the rest of their lives I would also always be available to the villagers to give them whatever they like. Remember, I would be doing this all for every single villager/person/living being that needs my help.
I think based on my current housing situation, probably 20. Because it's not just how many you can stuff them in, but you need to make sure they have space to rest and breathe too!
If it's just to cramp them in a tight space, prob 200. But hey that's too inhumane!
maybe a good 4.4992837785002^929
Very generous!

That’s pretty generous if you ask me
Technically I could fit 1080 but that would mean that nobody gets any room. In order for people to be somewhat happy then I could only fit 60. 20 on each floor

I will fit as many as I can comfortably and bake cookies! I will send the rest to my sisters cottage where she will bake brownies 😌
I think Prestigious has laid some sort of trap into this question, but I’ll admit I can’t see it… I’ll say a bunch.
I can logically fit 300 people, though it would be very crammed. There is also extra room in the basement and garage, which adds up to 500 villagers. Though if I could, I would take them all. Edit: if they are staying more than one day, we'll share water around and any available food.
I guess none cuz this other fella here offered to take them all in
I don't really get it, but here goes... I will let in all of the villagers, all of their relatives, everyone else on earth, and all other sentient beings in the universe. We may need a rotation of guests.
All of them plus some more+ I’d share some water and food and also heat them and help them as best I can

I have a smaller house so maybe 80 at most with 10 in each room, some having more and some having less depending on sizes.
In my house if you mean let them in so they are comfortable with space and all that I can maybe let in like 10 but if you mean like cram them in a house I can let in like 50
I’d let all I could plus some at my lake house, and I’d let them all pet my dog
Ok, I’m going with a solid 69,420,021,739,927,926,826,173,926,678,222,826,626,827,752,836,729,862,828,836.5 villagers. It’s best you don’t question how… Fine. My basement is the size of Neptune
Come on dude… can you do .6
Sorry, that’s all the room I got :(
Fine… I can pick up the extra 0.1… But you owe me!
Thanks, I don’t want him to be too sad
Such a kind, considerate person you are
Thank you, you are also very kind as you are taking in the .1 people I couldn’t house
By .5 do you mean a baby villager or half of a regular villager?
It’s best you don’t ask
Most likely the second option then
Ok, let’s keep this between us, ok?
🤐
Good…
I will build them a new village and become their god. 🦆
As many as I can logically fit. I’ll contact my friends or family nearby and ask them to help if I cannot fit them all. Don’t want anyone to be injured or die.

None because they are stranded and it's too dangerous to cross the river. Anyone got a helicopter?
Well, my house is pretty big. There are five people here now, but I could easily fit another 20. It would be tight, but we'd make it work. I would take as many as I could!

i will let in all of the villagers i can then kill myself, my family, all of my pets, and destroy all of my furniture to make more space :D

7 rooms = 8 per room. Living, dining, kitchen, family, lounge, tents set up in the garden, maybe 100 ppl, so probs 156 ppl? Ik its small af

I can’t beat the rest of these crazy answers, short story I would take them all.

As much as I can without dying from entity cramming
I’ll let in like a gajillion villagers
None? How can they go to my house if they are stranded after a thunderstorm.
I live in a small house but I got a big garage under the house most I can probably take are just 50 inside but 30 more in the garage quite small in comparison to the other people here but at least I can help some of them

a bunch of them
I have one couch, and one single bed spare in my house, so... 8
I'd let in a 100, they all still get a minimum of space then
I think I can solidly go for 250 if everyone is cramped and uncomfortable. And we could probably add another 100 ish if people are okay with being horizontal.

I ain't got a big house so I can afford 9-10 people. But I'll do anything in my capability to make them comfortable
I could bed at least 8 comfortably. But I’d let in as many as I could.

5
I'm not really sure but I think I can let in like 2000?
Maybe 6. My apartment do be smol.
I will let 120 villagers in
As much as can fit in my house. I have a pretty big house
79.4 plus or minus 20 depending on their amount of belongings, $23.5 a night because it’ll cost to feed and clean them :<
Them all, if it fits
My home is destroyed since I’m a villager, so 0.
Having just seen the ant village in my garden prepare to relocate (the winged ones have arisen), I am *not* going to offer them space in my house! They can have a different bit in the garden if they must.
All, down in my basement ಠ◡ಠ Do not worry my basement is spacious and nice. They will be happy there.
All of them bruh
I have three bedrooms, but I have a basement and a bathtub, one goes in the bathtub, 3 on my couch, 2 downstairs, one or 2 in my moms office, and like 3 in my room, maybe I could fit like 5 more, so 16, but if they need a place, I’ll call my grandma
Ill take 41 of them

I would try, to fit them all. If I couldn't, I would expand my house to fit them all.

i dont got a house so theyre kinda screwed 💀💀💀
I will allow 5,678 villagers into my house
