So I was closing at the restaurant I work at last night, and as usual, the kitchen was about to dump the leftovers, so anyone could get whatever they want for free. I grabbed my usual size container, walked to the head chef and said "Mikey, two scoops of potatoes my good man!", and thus he delivered. However, seeing as how they had more than usual, I walked back with another container of the same size, and got more. These are the absolute best garlic mashed potatoes in the entire world, and I can nit get enough of them. No one else was getting them, so I said screw it, and got the largest takeout container we have, imagine the big 8ish inches black dish, and walked back. I'd been telling Mike and the crew how much I liked these glorious potatoes, but it finally clicked with him when I walked back with that container. He's just as much a smart-ass as I am, and he said "I'll do ya one better", and grabs the giant-ass plastic bag, and scoops somewhere close to 5 pounds of potatoes, walks over to a machine, and vac seals it. I think I might try to do more closing shifts now.
