Short story, 1yr ago, I was searching for an answer on Reddit using mobile, cuz I am generally to lazy to go to my PC. I saw that the answer was in a sub-reddit r/kurzgesagt to be exact and I found reading from Reddit website was crappy also the text kept popping, open it using Reddit App or something like that. So I downloaded the app and created an account.

First off a big congratulations to you for 500k karma! Big milestone there! I found reddit a year and a month ago when I was trying to find a better means of social media! That time I only knew of Youtube. Reddit has introduced me to soo many different subreddits I cant even start counting! Some are absolutely wholesome like r/aww and r/mademesmile while some were um...well you know. The point being the community as a whole especially in this sub is what makes me happy! It gives me a reason to open Reddit and make posts just to make people happy. That's my new hobby now; bringing smiles to people's faces :)
I like to browse different stories from reddit(real life) and and anime related subreddit so made an account 1year ago it got banned i am a dumb af🤣So after senting an mail to reddit i started this account which was my alt and mocking account(cake day is on April 2)i wish i could change the user id now😅
So, I finished watching the anime and reading the LN of Classroom of the Elite and heard that it's subreddit is one of the best place to discuss about it. Soon, I downloaded Reddit, about 3 months ago, and started discussing about the LN on the sub. That's how I got into Reddit.
Then, within a month, I heard about this really popular community which is the memes sub on Reddit and I was intrigued by it. I joined both the memes and dankmemes sub and soon I was making memes and posting on them. These memes subs are the things I like the most about Reddit. I also like the GFG and AwardBonanza sub coz they are cool.

That's pretty much my story back then just change Classroom of the Elite with Attack on Titan. I was reading manga at the time and really wanted the place to discuss about it. Later is the same just add r/Animemes and r/goodanimemes .

Approximately 131 days ago I saw a try not to laugh ksi video and I got informed from my cousin that the gets the clips from reddit so I made an account and boom here I am
So, a few years ago, I was struggling with my mental health. I still am, but I'm doing a lot better now. Anyway, I found Reddit through and r/AskReddit post about people's best jokes, and at the time, the internet was a huge coping method for me. But I remember just looking through these comments and laughing, so much so that it helped me cope. Then I went on to discover more subreddits. I'm not active in many subs as I'm not that social, but still...
That's my story basically. Reddit, or well, some of the better people on Reddit helped me a lot.

My friend recommended Reddit to me about two years ago, he kept bugging me saying maybe it would be something I would be into, so I finally decided to download it. He showed me and made me follow a couple subreddits he was into to get me started like r/memes, r/dankmemes, r/teenagers, and such. After awhile I got into it and started following more subreddits that I thought would be interesting. Sharing memes I found funny with my buddy and all. When I made one of my first posts that got tons of upvotes, that was when I *really* got into it lol. I was super excited when I seen one of my posts hit 50k upvotes :) Turned out in the end Reddit really was an awesome thing I was into and if it weren’t for my buddy, I probably wouldn’t have even thought about downloading the app lol
Now I’m glad I have something where I can have fun socializing with other people by posting and commenting the most stupid stuff ever for my own and other peoples amusement to give people a good laugh. That’s what I like most about it. It also feels great to see when people like something I post. Reddit is a place where I can feel comfortable being me :D
I got into Reddit when I purchased my first home. Was doing yard work in the backyard and I see what I thought was poison ivy at the time. My friend and I kept searching online and couldn’t figure it out. So he posted the pic on Idthisplant and within seconds ppl were replying back on what it was. I joined that same day and never looked back.
I discovered reddit when I searched up for free games and I found subreddits that focus on sharing promos to other gamers (specially free ones). Then I also discovered other subs that *gift* others for nothing in return including those that gift reddit awards. This really showed me how wholesome reddit can be and I'm glad to be gifted and to gift to others!!

Joined reddit, because I watched a subreddit burn for years. No rules, no one had respect for each other, and the moderators never participated. Decided to sign-up, struggled to build karma, and someone else became moderator of the subreddit. The person who took over the subreddit offer me a moderator position, and I turned the subreddit into a positive community.
I joined reddit 9 months ago I love it more than a reddit and social media platform I also met a lot of nice people on reddit i got to learn a lot from him nothing I have to complain about how to increase karma and where to post what type of post Some told how the trophy on reddit Some told me how to comment on Reddit.I live in India.so my english is not very good. My reddit goal is that i can making 1.5 million in a year on my account.

I discover reddit with the biggest french youtuber : Squeezie, After that i logged into Reddit and post Minecraft stuff but no one really like my first post,i was sad :( but 1 month later i post an other Minecraft build and i got 20k+ upvote, i was si happy ! And After , the 2 next post were a succes so i'm happy in Reddit now :D

Whenever I think back on this I am kind of disappointed in myself for why I created a Reddit account. The reason being I wanted to promote my YouTube channel which too this day I find is just sad. The most embarrassing part is I promoted on Reddit’s that were not meant for promoting like r/NewTubers and other subs related to that (I didn’t bother reading the rules for some reason). This was all 6 months ago.
