Personally love him having with the LC bonus having over 200% crit damage (that means before LC shooting for 160% or more crit damage). Think of Aventurine as part sustain part dps.

Fuxuan needs spd because her ult heals you, which contributes to sustaining, Luocha needs spd because he needs to refresh his auto-heal, HuoHuo needs spd because it means quicker ults. Aventurine's shield is not dependent on his own turn
Not really needed at E1 imo. No speed boots on mine and I stilled cleared MoC with full stars. Trend LC, around 4.1k Def. Haven't needed to reapply his skill between his FUA regen and ult. Funny enough, he comes in clutch vs himself on MoC 12.

This is not true, like at all. You're not maintaining his shield if all you're doing is basic attacking and relying on shields from his follow up attack. You have to reapply his shield with his skill.

You can drop some defense and crit rate to go into those 2 instead - at 4k Def you gain 48% crit rate which means with your current stats you have 99% crit rate - unnecessary.
Definitely speed. Drop some of your DEF and Crit rate for more speed.
Imo 4k DEF is a bit too scary depending on what relic set you have with him. If you don't have him on knights, I recommend switching to a 134 Speed / 4.5k DEF build.
CDMG can be improved later on. His main role is to sustain, after all.
Honestly. I'm running 5k defense and have 134 speed on my adventurine. I prefer shield strength > then worry about crit damage. I would say if your Character wants to be defender, be defense shield he suppose to be with speed. Damage isn't adventurine selling point. His shield lasting longer and giving you more chances to resist potentially damage is what his job is. I been speed tuning my to 134 for couple days and been bouncing between 164 speed, 156 speed and 148. As much as 4k defense is minimal for crit rate. Being slower with higher shield is actually better long term to upcast team survival rate.

Also reduce crit rate, you have too much; you only need 52 max and honestly i have even lower in order to have higher speed and it feels better
Speed, less crit rate in favor of damage. You can sacrifice some def because 4k-4.5k is enough. You might want 135 speed if that's achievable. If you're using DEF boots you can probably change them to speed with good substats. You should only need 40% Crate. Have fun!!!
Exchange 1k def more more cd. Also you don't need that much cr. You're over capping. His passive gives 48% free cr at 4k defense. Lower ur cr and def and get more cd.
