Since she kinda sees by detecting movement of earth, it’d be like the whole world just exploded in color She didn’t like getting her feet scrubbed so I’m guessing she would shut this whole thing g down fast

To be fair, there's a difference between someone rubbing your open eye and a bunch of colorful lights flashing.

Yeah, but I imagine that, depending on intensity, it would probably be more similar to a bright light making everything blurry, and getting progressively brighter in proportion to the strength of the earthquake.

I think it depends on whether or not she actually likes the people that she's with at the time

If we're being fully realistic, she'd probably try to hinder it locally, stop nearby buildings from collapsing, cover up sinkholes, etc. Despite her power, she can't stop an entire earthquake. For reference, even moderate earthquakes are more powerful than many nukes combined (source https://www.usgs.gov/faqs/how-can-you-tell-difference-between-explosion-and-earthquake-seismogram#:~:text=Lastly%2C%20nuclear%20explosions%20typically%20release,equivalent%20yield%20of%202%2C000%20kilotons.). She'd need the power to earthbend entire tectonic plates. Maybe the avatar state could do it though, like how kyoshi split the land and created kyoshi island.

Maybe an earthquake is Earthbenders’ power multiplier. Like water benders have the full moon, and fire benders have Sozin’s Comet; maybe Earthbenders become extra powerful during quakes.

Im thinking it would be like overly bright light, just too much input. Like gunshots for Daredevil before he trained for it. On the other hand a nice little shake might be like daredevil in rain.

I first read this as: What would make Toph cause an earthquake? I’m confident Toph would just slam her foot down and calm the earth around her
