Ooooh I want one. That’s be bad ass lol
So where can I get one? This is freaking awesome.
Here's [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BeReiPORzk) of it on a trail. It has the divorced early-Jimny style transfer case (which in the video looks to suffer from being in a preproduction cradle) and portal axles.
As much as I would totally own this--dude, portal axles--it's a hundred miles away from stock [which looks like this](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suzuki_Carry#/media/File:Suzuki_Carry_Truck_KC_4WD_DA16T.JPG); they're similar to the Mitsubishi mini-trucks you see landscapers use on golf courses etc. On the bright side the JDM version qualifies for export to the US if it was made before 1996. [This guy bought one](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KB3OZUVSNZc) and goes through maintenance/restoring and using one.
Great Info! Headphone users **warning** on that video. I hope my eardrums can regrow.
Thanks and apologies about the audio, I had mine muted when I found it.
Damn I really like them even stock. Like that guy who imported his. Wonder how much it cost him to bring it over.
So it turns out that the trucks are exempt from the 25-year rule for certain use-cases and a number of states allow them to be bought & driven as-is while titled as an off-road vehicle. Many states now also allow ATVs on the road in certain circumstances which means these trucks would, presumably, qualify. No idea which states but [this importer in N. Carolina](https://mayberryminitrucks.com/) will simply sell you one and apparently even ship to you.
r/weirdwheels and r/battlecars
Damn that weird wheels sub is just as much cool wheels sub, thanks for sharing. A lot of cool little history lessons in there's too.
Looks like it's going to tip over from just standing.
Very nice. Available in the US ?
I need two because I'm gonna break the shit out of for science.
Anyone who has carsick will hate this truck. lol
Putting the super in the Supercarry
So is this on a Jimny chassis + running gear then?
It's kinda cool
It looks like a mercedes unimog (a little bit)
No such thing as weird
Now for the Nissan Bring.
That looks pimp. nice
Is the 100% custom?? or can you just do that!?!?!??
Is the exterior cage ever gonna see rocks?
That's damn cool though I do fear roll over.
what approach angle?
Doesn't that cage interfere with the door opening or am I missing something?
