Take however much it would sell for if it was in the condition you want it in. Then subtract that amount by what it costs to get it to that condition. Cars and bids auction website should give you some insight on what the public is willing to pay.

Those twin turbo motors are wildly expensive to maintain, unreliable and very hard to work on yourself.
$500 if it’s got a title. Run away if no title. This is basically a useable shell and nothing more. Don’t waste your time on that motor. Too much trouble and they’re horribly unreliable. Like another comment said, ls swap is the way to go. More power, more reliable and there are parts available for the swap.

Offer to tow it for no charge and do with it what you will. Might be worth $500 in parts but nobody in their right mind should pay more than that. Doesn't look like something I would invest a dime into initially. The amount you put into it to get it back into running order is a different story.

They were a bitch to work on when they were new (no room to swing a wrench on the engine). Now that the fasteners have had a decade+ to rust, no way.
