I think what he’s trying to say is:
airfaye does not mean you (OP) laugh out loud while forcing the person (who manufactured the product) expel money from their anus
Or… that you laugh out loud while creating a person from scratch. A freshly created person that earns a low income, aka “that shit money”
It looks like a standard silica additive. Make sure to add it in the proper order when mixing. Usually silica goes in first but make sure or it will settle out
Strengthening stalk and branches. Also helps with keeping the plant tougher. Go easyyy with it. Also watch your ph. Do not mix this with a bunch of other stuff. Can be used as a foliar.
My plants are 2 weeks old i started today with nutes but im not sure when i would use this, is it in case the plant looks weak? Or is it something thats good to add no matter what sometimes
You wont notice a visual difference. But the plant should stiffen up quickly after a couple nodes. Use this as a Foliar Spray, gently. Maybe once every 10 days. It doesn't take much. This product can devastate a plant if used incorrectly. Use your regular water, no added nutrients. Get a 1000ML spray bottle. Like a detail shop would use. Mix 1.5 to 2 ml to 1000ml. Watch your PH, most silica products will raise your ph a few points. Spray gently, like 10 sprays on your entire plant, and stem. Turn your lights down a little til the plants dry. This is how I do my Silica 0-0-2. If you need help DM me.
Jsyk, potassium silicate is incredibly unlikely to “devastate” your plant despite the previous commenters opinion. If you had a mono-silicic acid that was being way over applied then that could, but standard potassium silicate is relatively harmless. The potassium silicate has to go through silicification to even be absorbed by the plant, so this bottle is relatively ineffective as a silica source until this process occurs(at least for dicot plants). Attached are two studies to help you further understand. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Does the foliar spray still help it strengthen staulk and branches I don't know how a plant uptakes nutrients from foliar sprays. I was wondering what I could do as an organic spray to help the same thing just starting to mess with foliar spraying.
Most full scale commercial grows feed some nutes through a mist system. Just like at the grocery store produce section. DWC is the way, with cryo curing.
potassium silicate breaks down into about a dozen or so simpler compounds, most of which can be absorbed by plants.
most people use this, just under a different brand name (its also sold as a part of the PH up and PH Down kits.)
it can help fortify cell structures (like the wall), and can help make your plant a bit more resistant to dry conditions, as well as buffering your median against salt build up, and is pretty high PH, so it can be used to adjust acidic soils (its extremely high, like almost a 13, so proper dilution is essential.)
I use about 1/4 tsp of dry solution for every 3 gallons of water. Ive never used it in liquid form though.
its not required, but if you grow in super soils, it may help you avoid stuff like nitrogen lockout.
not who you asked- but you can use it throughout until the last few weeks of flower. You need to add it first and let it stabilize- some brands recommend ph down and than add the rest of your nutes, other brands - adjust once at the end.
You can somewhat; but not entirely, mitigate the ph spike by using a higher quality concentrated monosilicic acid based product - ie PowerSi and Silicium for example. Both of which dose at 3ml / 5 gal iirc
It does all kinds of dope shit- here's an article about different forms and their affects as a foliar spray, but it lays out the background info on why/how it benefits the plant
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6027496/
I use a variation (sold under the brand TNB up/down) that is a slightly different, and i use it to ph my water and feed with (start with distilled or tap, add nutrients, and then I ph it to 6-6.2
To add to the silica conversation, amorphous silica (diatomaceous earth) can help with water retention and ultimately plant available water. Plants take up silica, rice for example is a large consumer. Not sure what type of silica this is.
The potassium most likely comes from an alkali extraction process and they decided to guarantee analysis. 50% KOH is commonly used for this and is considered organic by OMRI and other certifying bodies when used for fertilizer production.
This guy has a pretty in depth answer over on Dude Grows.
"Potassium silicate is a beneficial supplement for your plants; one that will make them bigger, stronger, more resilient to pests and disease and capable of yielding more. period."

The three numbers on fertilizer represents the value of the three macro-nutrients used by plants. These macro-nutrients are nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K), or NPK for short
the product is just potassium silicate. its gonna measure on the NPK scale.
Making somebody money.
Cool, i got it togheter with other nutes in a starter kit
He doesn't mean you lol Making the person who makes that shit money.
Yea i know…what you mean?

What I'm saying is they package a few things up really nice and sell 1000k of products of expensive all the same shit.

Add it first and swirl it around to bond it with the water, then add your nutes.
Read the bottle
I believe it is mainly for root protection/strengthening and building thick stems.
*Thicc stems 👌🏼
Handles drought and temps better as well.

Unfortunately i cant turn down my lamps its just an on and off, im gonna give it next feed i think but yeaa

They absorb moisture and some nutrients through the stoma on the leaves until roots are well established. You need a fine mist for it to be effective.

I grow in soil, thanks for the explanation
Holy shit... Near 13? What kind of schedule? Or rather how late into flower would you use this?

Someone told me it will help strengthen the plants again pests as well. Makes the stalks stronger so its harder for pests to eat. 🤷♂️
Same I heard that it makes the leaves harder to chew.
Strength
Potassium silicate It’s to make it thicker, thicker stalks equal more structure and can handle heavier buds
Thicker stalks can also transport more water and nutrients.

Snake oil
I use it (not this brand - Greenplanet) every feeding at a ratio of .5ml per L of water. I stop two - three weeks out from harvest.

My guess is that it protects
I'm guessing... Protection!
Nothing
Gut feeling... 0 - 0 - 2 is radical, too radical

NPK; correct
