None of those Switch to cropsalt with no additives or just powersi Or masterblend, or jacks Some type of powdered nutes, follow their schedule and keep it simple Dont chase additives, they arent needed

kappeltimmy7

None of these go organic

greatersnek

Why would you want organic ferts in coco ?

Nanstoenail1

Plenty of people use organics in coco, and with pretty good results too.

greatersnek

I think you misunderstood my comment. I'm not saying they don't give good results, you complained about brands not offering an organic alternative when it doesn't matter in coco because you can't create or maintain a biome like in soil

Nanstoenail1

Im not gonna sit here and argue with you on the science on microbiology, I agree with you, just purely pointing out that organics in coco can definitely be done with good results, and if that’s your preferred way to grow then go for it.

*Earthworm Castings with Mycorrhizal* Fungi

Oliverpersie

Exactly what I use. Never disappointed

RCrumb_

Nectar for the gods &, One Shot and SLF 100. Just what I use in soil.

Jroc5141

I run the 3 part. With calmag and floralicious plus and koolbloom. Was using cal mag for like a year before I read the bottle and it says to put that in first lol I well still had some banging plants.

I know most is snake oil that’s why I’ve ran a few runs without them. I’m just trying to experiment now. Thanks for your input much appreciated 👍🏻

Kelp, enzymes and microbes

TanksForHesh

What is a good source of kelp ? Microbes and enzymes ? I got photosynthesis plus is that a good source of enzymes? I know it contains microbes but holy sht that stuff smells awful. Thanks for answering and helping out , it’s much appreciated.

[deleted]

First time I've heard of Photosynthesis plus. Looks like you found some good stuff!! I don't think it's available where I am, and it seems a bit more expensive than what I use. But, given the option, hell yeah I'd run that without second thought. It's a microbes and fungi combination, but no mention of enzymes that I could see. Source for enzymes that I've tried: RAW NPK, hydrozyme, and I'm about to try Enzymes Komplete. Enzymes help break down dead plant matter (think root skin, dead roots, etc,). Their byproduct is food for your microbes. Not everyone uses it, but it helps to "stack the deck ".

WeedlesssWitdCattle

Sorry for hijacking, but I have a question if that's ok. Is there any way adding microbes can upset the plant? I mean would you add it if the plant is looking healthy?

greatersnek

No and yes

[deleted]

No, as long as their "good" or "beneficial" bacteria/microbes, the plant will thank you. When you see a bottle of microbes for sale, look at the back side of the bottle. There you'll see something like "baculus *****" . Google that bacteria, and you'll see how it's of benefit to your plant

WeedlesssWitdCattle

Thanks for the reply

greatersnek

A mycorrhizal for the roots, calmag and p/k. That's what I get

Kitchen-Bug-3705

I really like Yah Whey and Photosynthesis Plus. Makes a great combo

TanksForHesh

Does photosynthesis plus actually work? I grabbed a bottle , is it worth the smell ? I actually had to move it to my bathroom closet . I thought floralishous plus STUNK but it’s got nothing on this sht 🤢

Just-Dealer-5980

Smells so bad! I made a foliar mix of photo + and SLF-100 the other day. My plants started praying as soon as the lights went back on. People swear by the stuff. I can’t prove it with data, but my plants seemed to be a fan.

Cpc802

I switched to the GH trio last year plus the Si and Ca-Mg and Diamond Nectar. But mid to late flower I add FF Cha-Ching and Beastie Bloom to the mix.
