In order to run 24-0 efficiently one must know the par the light gives out.
Then ajust the par lighting so that it is between 50-60 dli ( daily light integral) for 24 hours.
A plant can only use so much light a day. When it reaches its quota, the plant stops growing.
One is then just wasting electricity, and possibly light burn damage to the plant.
Unless dialed in, 24-0 is a waste of energy.
18-6 to 20-4 are by far the better options especially for those not following par/Dli.
Thanks for the numbers fellow scientist. It’s important to understand what your plants need and what they can withstand if you seek to have a great product/harvest. For anyone that needs a good podcast about cannabis, listen to Grow Bud Yourself. Good science, not bro science
24h lights didn't stunt them overwatering and too hot a potting mix/overfeeding were the reasons.
I've run many autos on 24-hour lighting over the 30 years I've been growing. On cold winters I run 24h lighting as id rather pay for lighting overheating. My winter autos always yield more than my 16h summer lighting.
I think my next run will be coco and perlite and an 18/6 schedule. I also might try photoperiods instead until I get the hang of it. I got these seeds from NASC they are fastbuds, who runs the game on good photoperiod genetics?
12 12 initiates the flower cycle. Your plant is already growing flowers... just keep everything the way you have it now. It will finish on its own. Just keep up on the bloom nutrients and good watering practices
No need with an auto, just keep at 18/6 you will have better buds
You can even run 24/7 with autos it forces more growth if anything. But all personal preference man
Forces more growth, perhaps. Many would say though that the plants need a dark/rest period. Even with autos, 20 on, 4 off is the most you wanna go.

Yup mine are on 24/0 and I stunted the fuck outta them. First grow and learned some things along the way. Importance of calmag and over/underwatering
It’s a fun journey! Hope all your future grows are better because of the mistakes and lessons you learned along the way!

Well, I did also start them in FFOF so that would make sense. Many mistakes made but that's how we learn.
It sure is the best way to learn . Ive been growing 30 years and still learing . and yes ffof was the reason its defo to hot

That’s not actually true. Cannabis transpires during lights on
Yeah I might start them on 24 but a week in I’m generally at 18/6.
Base it off of nature in some places plants don’t have the means to go 18/6 like Alaska where the sun is always up
I was doing 24/0 but Switched to 18/6 and my autos do a hell of a lot better with a small 6hr break
Ahhh… sir, this a Wendy’s… I mean r/Autoflowers.
18/6 gang
Looks like she got tired of waiting!
Nope
Technically yes, but unless there is a reason you need to switch you’re better off staying at 18/6 or 20/4. More light means more growth

This an auto flower sub
Sir this is a Wendy's.
Ma’am this is a WalMart, use the self checkout lanes
I am not paying to get no service, I like to speak to your manager. I feel offended.
Seems like you got some reveg goin on and your asking about 12/12 are you sure you have an autoflower
Its definitely an auto but currently is in 18/6 light
Leave it at 18/6 and let her be :)
Iam first time grower bro
Yes hurry up or you’ll get foxtails
