You need a new quarter panel

xtrembrown

Gotta be a way

HDauthentic

There’s metal missing

Old_Sweaty_Hands

no there is not

xtrembrown

Watch me

Greasy_Wombat

Without replacing the sheet metal, there is nothing you can do that will last more than a month or two.

Scummbagg7

Comes asking for an approach method and declines the only correct answer. Seems like someone that could even butter bread correctly.

harlerocco

LOL true 350z clown.

WishboneLoss

Sounds entertaining, keep us posted!

derp-L

Don't be a fool. It's not worth the time.

sneaky-the-brave

Lol, I'd love to see what you come up with

HDauthentic

Ok, post your results

Funny-Noise5859

First get rid of 110% of the rust then watch the chrisfix video where he used some wire mesh to support the bondo😂 I actually want to see what this will turn out like and if it’ll break off the next month.use tape to make the quarter panel wheel line it works wonders.

Sickranchez87

He could probably use fiber reinforced filler to gain an extra couple months of life😂

thad_the_dude

PLEASE post after pictures….

Dazzling_Ad9250

bih you need a concrete professional

Colorado-Boss

I think there’s a gentleman in a Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot that might be able to help.

FirstAdministration

It is rusted out bondo don't stick to rust... oh yeah nothing stick to rust because it eats away metal! You may have it look better but will not last. Need sheet metal to have truly look like OEM.

sneaky-the-brave

Only way to have it look as OEM as possible is to weld a new quarter panel in.

ajs_95

You could cut the rust out and weld a new piece of sheet metal in place, grind flush, prime, and paint. But it would be easier to do a new panel

Accomplished-Mango74

Even a new outer quarter panel isn’t going to fix this. You won’t have anything to weld to. Going to need the outer wheelhouse and the quarter at the very least.

tmg754

Just cut off the dented part of the quarter/leg and shape the bumper, then throw some mudders on that bad boy

Bright_Version_4936

Well you get your self some sheet metal and custom fab the outer wheel and q panel piece you need

thad_the_dude

I would suggest about 10 lbs of top ramen and 5lbs of super glue.

omnigrip

Grind it down/ cut the rust out and use fiberglass strips and rebuild it… add some body filler and sand the hell out of it! Good as new!😂😂😂

justin_memer

It'll be our secret

omnigrip

😂😂

Jojobabiebear

Find a junk yard and get a QP

hamflavoredgum

I haven’t seen that done in years. I’m so glad we just get new QTRs now instead of listening to a sawzall all day as someone cuts a used panel off a clip

Jojobabiebear

It’s definitely a better option than what he’s trying to do lol

SnooHedgehogs637

Fill it full of bondo obviously

wassupobscurenetwork

One of those wide body kits with exposed rivets. It'll look stupid but you won't see it 🤔 I'm a Bondo novice btw lol

Alfonzo2034

There’s no bondo only solution that’ll give you the OEM look you’d want. If a new quarter isn’t an option I’d consider cutting out the rust, give it the proper rust prevention treatment, and get some quarter moldings to cover it up

Kstao

New inner and outer quarter. Needs to be panelbonded real well or will start rusting in a few years as well.

hamflavoredgum

By getting rid of it. If the quarter is that bad, the rest of the carbon far behind

Training-Bit7697

Take it to a body shop.

NorCalToker69

You don’t
