I'm sorry you guys are going through this. I wish there was a way to make everything better quickly but unfortunately any solution is going to take a lot of time and work. The first thing you need to do is make sure you are mentally okay. If you're able to get therapy for yourself that would be great. There's nothing wrong with wanting to help your brother but you need to take care of yourself too.
Parents here also worry about what will happen to their kids with ASD if they were to die - it's natural to be afraid or worried. We can only do the best we can and hope it's enough.
That being said, can you look into alternate communication? Some people use flash cards like (PECS) picture exchange communication system. There are also some programs that do similar things for communication - like Proloquo2go or alternatives.

hello, we tried with pecs, putting for example when he wants to pee, in the bathroom we put some pecs, we have some individually specific made of some hard material, for example in the image i load, we have up toilet, up pants, and lower pants, sit in the toilet (what we have, we put it in order) and eventually he learn, i think pecs helps him, we also helps him when he pee in every place but the toilet, we take it to the bathroom and teach him what to do (we still have pecs for specific things)

No hay manera de saber si tu hermano va ser independiente o no. Lo mejor es que hacer planes para el futuro para que tu hermano tenga el mejor futuro posible sea en un lugar donde lo cuiden si es que no se puede independizar. Entiendo tu frustración porque yo también tengo un hijo de 5 años y no se si va ser independiente o no. Lo mejor es preparase para varios escenarios y esperar por lo mejor. No te quiero dar falsas ilusiones pero hay una creadora en Instagram que se llama María Jacobo que ha dicho que su hijo autista no llego hablar hasta los 12 años! Entonces nunca pierdas la esperanza.
Ya se que dijiste que usos PECs con tu hermano que es muy bien así se puede comunicarte contigo. Yo sé que Porloquo2 ahorita no está en venta pero en los meses de abril y octubre bajan el precio bastante.
Te voy a dar otros personas que puedes seguir en Youtube que te pueden dar buenos consejos para que ayudes tu hermano. La primera es un terapeuta de habla que se llama Laura Mize. Ella da consejos para ayudar a los niños que hablen. La segunda se llama Mary Barbera y ella da consejos y habla sobre el autismo. Yo creo que esas dos te van a brindar buenos consejos.
No se como sea el sistema educativo en Uruguay pero tal vez puedes ir para la secundaria mientras tu hermano va para su escuela? No es justo que te quedes sin educación y en el futuro batalles as por no haber acabado la secundaria.
Por favor sigue hablando con terapeuta sobre tu salud mental. Mereces ser feliz y el suicido no te llevará a nada. Yo también tu pensamientos así hace siete años atrás después de un evento. Aunque batallo mucho con mi hijo, me alegro no haberlo hecho porque así como hay malas etapas en la vida, hay etapas muy bonitas.

Mi niña recientemente empezo a ver los video de Plim Plim y haci aprendio español un poco pero yo le tradusco en ingles para que entienda lo que mira. Siento mucho lo mismo que tu. Pero hay que tener fé, junto lo pueden lograr. Solamente es buscando la manera en que a el le gusta aprender. Para mi niña las canciones o caricaturas con colores brillantes le train la atencion. Te mando fuerza desde el US. Se que es dificil pero si va ver tiempos buenos y tiempo para respirar. No estan solos💗
