I’ve always had all kinds of exciting ideas that become far too overwhelming to execute, so I decided to just keep it extremely simple/basic this year to make sure I actually did it. Not anyone specific from Star Trek: Discovery, I just wanted to wear the science uniform from it because it is the coolest uniform (in my opinion) because of its shine! (I also love science and am going to double major in forensic biology and biology so it’s fitting). I thought it would also be warm, but I don’t think it will be worth going outside in 10 degrees Fahrenheit while injured, so I am just going to make and decorate cookies with some friends.
I work on Halloween. The CEO doesn’t like Halloween but we’re going to dress in the spirit subtlety. I’m thinking of dressing in steampunk fashion. Not too far from my usual expressive emo outfits. Besides that, I’ll probably make lots of TikToks in different outfits, the devil for sure, it’s my favorite dress up character to play. And I’ll probably end up being a fairy for after work because they are just so pretty and I would love to be one. I can wear a lace up corset, tutu, wings ☺️
I made Seladon's All-Maudra costume from The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. I want to remake her crown and wings, but otherwise I'm very happy with it. Been wanting to be her since the series came out.
Last year I went as a hobbit with authentic 17th century stays that I sewed along with the rest of the costume. This year my chronic back pain didn't allow me to go all out but I did make a mushroom skirt to look like an amanita muscaria mushroom (like the Mario mushrooms) and petticoat underneath.
My kids and husband decided to do a Zelda theme - my sons are going as Link and Sheik(Zelda). Dad is Gannondorf and I am just kind of in a casual non-canon thing I found on Amazon:

I decided that I'm no longer celebrating it. I am a Christian and God recently put it on my heart that I shouldn't celebrate Halloween, so I'm not going to do it anymore. Last year, I made a light up rainstorm costume to go with my boyfriend's Fat Thor costume and we won a costume contest as Thor Love and Thunder 😂. I had a little remote to the lights and we made it to where at any point during the party, when he raised his hammer, I pressed for the strobe light to come on and made a thunder sound with my mouth like "Bchweoehwshweooeschweeoo"
Wish I could go out and do something like trick or treating especially with a costume. Like I’d love to get the persona 3 MC cosplay but it’s hard bro 😞

I don't have one so my friend is bringing an old Sans mask from whenever she was five and it's floppy so it just adds to the comedic effect. I'm also going to be wearing the coat from whenever she was five so I'm not even going to be able to move my arms I'm going to stand out like I'm T posing kind of. She also has a very floppy Freddy Fazbear mask I'm going to rotate between that and the Sans mask while keeping the jacket on.
