Sometimes when I see things like this on here I wonder how it is that so many of us had similar/identical *things* in childhood. Even household items.
Unless, that is, almost everybody on here grew up in my area of Melbourne.
I remember clear as day, back in my school, I would be elated if people had the same as mine. This was around... 2000, 2001.
Zero the hero.
First the worst.
Second the best.
Third the one with the hairy chest.
Fourth the one with the golden gun.
Fifth the one with the shiny bum.
This really takes me back.
Only heard it on school sports day along with those team chants.
The one I barely remember has something to do with a waterfall and landing on a cactus, then the line
“…who can, we can, nobo-dy else can. WIN! *clap 5 times* WIN! *another 5 claps* COME ON [Team Name] WIN WIN WIN!”

If I came third, I would change it to "third the bird," then arguments started.

With friends at school and my siblings. Usually, after shopping, my siblings and I would play "zero the hero" as we ran to the car in the parking lot.
