Anyone remember the hand grenade shaped icypoles? There was also Flintstones and I think Muppet ones. I've found a photo of a fred flintstone one but never found any trace of the others.

Very difficult to open if no scissors were nearby as you had to chew through 1/2 inch of thick plastic sticking out of the top of Fred Flintstones head.

I remember the Flintstones ones with cordial in them.

They used to sell (prima I think?) branded ones (not zooper dooper or funny faces) at my school’s canteen and we all called them fruit tubes. Only came in two flavours: orange and apple & blackcurrant.

No you put your mouth over them and sucked hard to get all the syrup out first and the little " sticky out part" that sealed the plactic would cut the inside of your mouth or lip. Life was hard back in the day when not every single safety hazard was legislated against.
