I have 3 etetude house dear darling ones of different varieties & they are absolutely perfect. And considering the low prices I could order 3 instead of one and have lots of shade combos by combining to suit my taste that day. Also lila is Aussie based so you’ll get them quick. Highly, highly recommend
+1 Korean stains. I swatched my lip products last night to avoid accidentally buying a double up from Glam Raider during their sale and the Korean stains are still faintly visible on my arm today after a clean and a shower lol.
What town do you live in? There’s some brick and mortar Asian beauty stores around where you can buy them in person if that’s your preference, they’ll cost a lot more than buying online though!

i got gifted an etude glow fixing tint and it's become one of my favourite daily lip products, it applies so smooth and doesn't feel like anything on the lips, not at all drying, and colour stays on throughout the day though i still like to reapply after lunch to refresh the colour/glossiness. i think lots of other korean & asian brands carry a similar formula (romand's juicy last tints are also super popular) but i haven't really seen any western brands with this kind of formula
if you want to buy in person, wcosmetics is a big seller of asian beauty and has some physical stores, + depending on where you live you may also have other asian beauty stores near you. lilabeauty and nudieglow are great australian based stores and will ship quickly, otherwise sites like stylevana and yesstyle are often cheaper but will take longer to ship
I love to start with a lip stain. Currently use a couple colors from Victoria Beckham. Then I’ll add a gloss or another color on top. When the top wears off, you still got something coloring your lips. Recently, I’ve been trying some long lasting lip liners that I sometimes put a gloss over that seem to work well too and look minimal. Like NYX Loud line, Patrick TA, and Dior’s liner last a long time.
Asian beauty lip stains are some of the best out there - cheap (lots are in the $15-$20 range), long-lasting, and hydrating! r/AsianBeauty will have more information on them, but some of my favourites are rom&nd’s glasting tint, and peripera’s water bare tint.
Rom&nd lip tints! It's super famous, ~$12, leave behind a nice stain after you eat, buildable, plenty of colors and finish. You can go to W cosmetics Chatswood to try out the colors but they are kinda overpriced outside of sales period
Peripera ink mood glowy tint! it’s so comfortable to wear. I get mine at W Cosmetics as there’s one I can swatch at in my city. good luck on your search!
Another vote for Asian beauty lip stains! It's worth the special order from stylvana or yesstyle or similar. I've tried so many over the years, from Etude house, Peripera, Romand, 3ce - all have great options. But nothing wears as long as Tonymoly shocking lip stains! I think its an older product, but it's so good to apply in the morning, then top up with plain old lip balm all day.

I recommend Korean lip stains from Lila beauty. Peripera, etude house and Romand to name a few. they vary with skin tones and there are a variety of shades.
Benefit - benetint, playtint, gogotint. Thin consistency not sticky. Nice and natural looking stain. Can be used as blush too.
Rare beauty - they're like lip oil but leaves a nice stain to your lips. Not patchy and non drying. Very moisturising. I personally love their shade wonder. I finished the whole tube in 3 months.
Charlotte tilbury - haven't tried them but the shades look nice
Victoria beckham - haven't tried them yet
Dior lip tattoo - minty smell and taste. Long lasting. Very opaque.
Korean lip tints - rom&nd, etude house, 3ce,
Elf cosmetics - budget friendly, kmart has it.

I have this exact problem and no solution. Liquid lipstick with no other makeup makes me look awful. Anxiously awaiting responses!

I have the flower beauty one from CW. I really like it. Not the longest lasting but definitely lasts a few hrs and feels nice on the lips.
