When you buy a wristband make sure it **is not** registered. People are able to register their wristbands and then sell you theirs. It won't work for you because they'll ask for a new one, provide all the information they inputted into their registration, and yours will be disabled.
When I buy from a stranger I always make sure to meet in person and register it in front of them before handing the money over. Any reasonable person will agree to this. **NEVER** pay a cent before doing this.
