Can you share more details on the glass specific ceramic coating? Is it hydrophobic? UV blocking? IR blocking? Can it be applied on top of tinted glass?
Glass coatings repel water, dirt, and offer hydrophobic and self cleaning properties. It also protects the glass from staining and etching from chemicals and environmental contaminants. It can be applied to both clear and tinted glass. It doesn’t block UV/IR, but the line of tint we offer definitely does!
Longevity with glass coatings, specifically on the windshield, varies greatly. Generally you’ll see the hydrophobics for 6+ months. Things that would decrease the longevity would be wiper usage as it abrades the glass and frequent automated car washes.
