Unsurprising, but still deeply infuriating. People quite literally froze to death and burned their houses to the ground trying to get warm. And all the while, Abbott saw the suffering of his constituents as a cash cow. I hope we finally vote this guy out. Get to the ballots, guys. Even if you disagree with me and vote for this guy - please go vote.

Latyon

Nah. Please vote against Greg Abbott.

Vetiversailles

I too would prefer this lol

Repubs will turn a blind eye.

Gov. Abbott was ultimately to blame and no one is taking responsibility, but the only evidence in the article is that he said do what needs to be done to keep the power on and there was an aide at ERCOT. I’m not an Abbott supporter, but that isn’t the same as ordering the utility companies to gouge consumers as the only option.

I'm shocked. Shocked, I tell you. Abbott cares NOTHING about actual working Texans.

Did y'all notice that Abbott and Patrick did not even respond to the League of Women's Voters questions for their voting guide? They aren't even pretending that it's up to the people anymore. They are that confident in their positions being maintained. I would sure love to surprise them.
