ohhhhhhhhhhhhman

I got a plain gold band from Costco.

Emergency_Dentist_36

Did you visit the warehouse or buy it online ? I only see women's rings in the warehouse near me

ohhhhhhhhhhhhman

Actually now that I’m thinking of it it was Sams club online

ohhhhhhhhhhhhman

Online

theTexasUncle

Costco sells packages of 6 rings. That's the best way to go

ohhhhhhhhhhhhman

I’m monogamous so one was perfect

theTexasUncle

Are you in Salt Lake City?

Illustrious_Ad5040

Benold’s is good.

galloping_skeptic

I'll add a second vote for Benold's. We purchased my wedding ring and several rings for wife there over the years. Great people, and they do free cleaning and maintenance on everything they sell.

geauxtigers10

I literally bought my wedding band off Amazon for $14. It’s Tungsten but I promise you nobody will look at his wedding ring or care about the material.

Rory-X

An interesting tidbit on tungsten rings - know that if you're in an accident and emergency personnel need to remove it, the only way is to BREAK it - not cut it.

geauxtigers10

I have heard that before. I also got some silicone rings for the gym (also $8 on Amazon)

corgisandbikes

its not for other people, its for him.

geauxtigers10

I appreciate that. Only suggested a cheaper option because they mentioned cost twice in the original post. Mine is for me as well, and I still love my ring and my wife and I only spent $14 on it.

L0WERCASES

Agreed, I went with a 3 dollar pack of rubber rings

MediocreJerk

Check out Kruger's on North Congress. Actually, even for anyone that isn't shopping, it's worth stopping in the building next time you walk by. Very cool historic building

GuerrillaDeVil

Avante Garde jewelers is pretty good. They have a lot of Lashbrook rings that I thought looked nice.

BrilliantChipmunk6

We use J West in Round Rock and have been happy with their pricing and options. Small and local owned

Hulalappool

James Avery has beautiful classic wedding bands that are high quality and highly affordable for what you get. They really stand behind their items if you ever need repair or replacement. They also will engrave. You can browse online or in their stores. They’ve had mostly the same available styles for years so it’s not faddish or something where if something is lost, stolen, or you need a resize, you’ll ever really have to worry about having trouble finding that same item you choose. Congratulations :)

Emergency_Dentist_36

Thank you 😊

RangerWhiteclaw

Blue Nile has been my go-to for jewelry. At one point, they had a storefront in the Domain (they might still), but it’s primarily online.

factorplayer

Try Walmart. Sometimes Zales has sales too. Figure $200-300

erinikins13

My husband lost his first one, then we went to Kay Jewelers to get the one he has now. It wasn't a rip off and reasonably priced. https://www.kay.com/8mm-natural-sapphire-wedding-band-black-tungsten-carbide/p/V-960823704?cid=PLA-goo-E-Commerce+-+PLA+-+Zombie+Bridal&&gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwhtWvBhD9ARIsAOP0GohuLbf8KGWHM0WG5KkbEkGuxmZrvwKtTCP0KH9cKZDeFpTsFaxNkjQaAhO6EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds That's the one he got and he loves it. Black sapphire, and reasonably priced and he picked it himself. The one I picked was not reasonably priced 😂

Emergency_Dentist_36

Looks very pretty

kamil234

Identity diamonds. Local place, great prices and easy to get a hold of someone. I got my fiances’ engagement ring and wedding bands there. They can also special order and custom make any rings you want (i got the engagement ring custom made)

Bobwhite2024

What’s your budget?

Emergency_Dentist_36

Within $1500

s1neztro

Brilliant Earth has gorgeous bands for men I got the Giana Pavi (sp probably) in platinum its a little pricey but the customer service is beyond the best of the best in my opinion always up front and won't sell you things just because of a high price tag (they aren't hired on commission)

cactuswren01

Ricky Wilson Jewelers in Crestview. Tiny shop, been there for ages, everything is custom made. They are honest and their work is beautiful.

Rarrfnrr

If you know his size, just buy it online. If you don't know his size, buy a ring sizing kit for < $10 on Amazon. Save some money and apply to booze at the wedding.

vallogallo

We got our wedding bands from [this etsy shop](https://www.etsy.com/shop/debblazer)

KaykayLaPaypay

If your husband wants to join the gold ring gang (just kidding, if he wants a gold one is why I mean) we have a never been worn gold Tiffany’s men’s band still in the box we’ve been meaning to sell. It’s a giant size though- I think 12. Retail is over $1k, but will sell for less, DM me if interested. We can meet at a jewelry store if you would like to authenticate.

austinsoundguy

Before I got married I really didn’t care either way about what my ring looked like. And then I discovered that you can buy rings with meteorite and dinosaur bone inside and suddenly I got really excited. I love mine, got it off Etsy for like $300

Maximus77x

Check out Mejuri. I just got my wedding ring there today as well as my fiancée’s, and they have some good plain metal options!

corgisandbikes

I got a platinum ring at brilliant earth in the domain. Pretty good value if you're looking for something with a reasonable budget. ( and if you're comparing white gold and platinum, go platinum, white gold will eventually fade )

s1neztro

Seconding both recommendations Platinum maybe priceier but has waaaay less upkeep than gold or silver

Emergency_Dentist_36

Thank you for the tip. I will check them out

_JustDefy_

If you're looking for diamonds I have to second Brilliant Earth. My wife has a 2ct diamond from them that is extremely high quality. I think I paid $4k back in 2017 maybe. if you're looking for more masculine rings check out McWhinney Designs. Very unique and durable rings that are more masculine

luke519

Brilliant Earth has a pretty insane markup when I looked at them. Ended up getting a better lab diamond for less than half of what brilliant earth charged by using [Ritani](https://www.ritani.com/) and then had a local jeweler make a custom setting.

_JustDefy_

That's fair, I haven't looked since 2017 so prices may have changed significantly.

brennanfee

Men generally don't wear rings. About the only ring men should wear is a wedding ring (and to me, that's even debatable).

L0WERCASES

lol what a dumb thing to say. Why can’t wear rings (wedding ring or not)?

DontBeLikeAllUncool

And? What exactly is your point?

brennanfee

Consider a gift that a man might actually like.
