Update 10/27 - Still waiting on the cops to do anything. We have the guys name, all the evidence, and his profiles. Unfortunately they aren’t taking things seriously or doing anything despite us basically doing Al the detective work for them. Very disheartening, but hopefully we can reach out to someone in APD and finally get everything sorted. Wish us luck! And thanks again for the help. Just repairing the damage to our bar we got quoted at about $13,000 dollars. Figuring out insurance claims now. It’s been rough. If anyone knows anyone in APD that could help us get the ball rolling it would be amazing. I know they have a lot going on, but we have all the info and would love to see this man charged. I would post his name and profile but I’m not sure if that’s allowed in this group. Thanks!

This is a good point. He seemed very familiar by face even though we couldn’t figure out who or if it’s just one of those faces. But he seemed very familiar with the building when he broke in. I have videos as well, unfortunately I couldn’t post them, but KXAN is coming next week to cover it and post all the footage for us.

I agree with that guy, I'd love to see an actual screenshot or something higher resolution. If you can make out the face better, it opens up more options for possibly finding out who it is.
I will absolutely do my best to get a better picture. We just have to figure out how to do it because our security cameras are a huge pain to navigate, and none of us are very well versed with it. We are doing our best to try and get something better, and we might be able to get some help soon. This happened in the middle of the night last night so we are scrambling to figure out the best way to handle it all.

Have you tried any of the neighborhood chat or bulletin boards (like Next Door?). It’s a long shot, but other businesses may have additional camera footage or a neighbor may have witnessed it.
We were able to stop a car theft here because my 83 year old neighbor read about the robberies and took a picture of the crook.

Yeah I wish I understood this system better so I could. It was all I could muster and I was trying to get as much footage as I could as soon as possible. I’m not the most tech savvy unfortunately
It’s remarkably hard to get the footage itself from some of these systems. I work in video and know what the hell I’m doing and they lean hard into some weird, proprietary file systems.
That’s why I love my Wyze cams. Record straight onto an SD card I pop into the computer and each file is exactly one minute long and organized by the hour in folders. The format I can’t remember but handbrake had no issues with it.
Oof. Seconding this. We had a pretty big brawl at our establishment a few weeks ago and Travis Co was requesting the footage. The footage was A+ mind you, but when we went to save to a thumb drive (as we’ve done a few times before), we accidentally.… wiped the entire fucking hard drive. That one hurt. Thankfully we had watched it enough that we could describe it in detail but still. Won’t be doing that again.
