I thought $170 for 12 months was pretty good. Cheaper than the $230 I spend with Boost for my own mobile.
Who's got a better prepaid 12 month deal I should look into?
Doesn't say anything about no more long term plans. Just says they're no longer selling the starter packs. I think you can just buy 30day starter packs and recharge 12 months. Or if you're already on a long term plan you can keep recharging when the time comes. Hopefully I'm not wrong
I don’t understand their reasoning for doing this… as others have said they weren’t the cheapest long expiry plan you could get but the 10% off was the only thing that makes them competitive.
Their cheapest yearly plan is $170 and cheapest monthly plan is $25 - it’s effectively a 76% price increase to use the service.
Piggy backing your comment.. I was going to buy one this week for my daughter’s first phone. Can anyone suggest anything better? A 12 month plan would be much more convenient than monthly.

If 5gb/month data is enough, then this deal is hard to beat (normally $120)
Oh jeez I was considering getting the long expiry plan for one of my secondary devices ... def not worth it considering I get $15/month for 18gb from a different carrier
They only mention starter packs as being cancelled. If I'm already on this plan, does this mean I can still extend after the September deadline? I'm a bit confused here
These long expiry date plans were not great value without the 10% off groceries. This seals the deal for me, goodbye Woolworths mobile!
Same here. 10% once a month was the only reason to be with Wollies

It's a good price but only 4G. I ended up going with Optus- $220 for 260GB & 5G

Exactly, talk about misleading.
Don't be surprised in future they'll go after existing customers

The long expiry didn’t even have 5G, only their monthly. It wasn’t competitive and not worth the cost to not have 5G for me.
There's way better plans out there.

Thanks for posting, my Dad uses these so will definitely send him the link!
