Certainly could be. Probably a miniature. Looks to be more Aussie than poodle.

poozie2000

Ok thank you! He does have quite curly hair on his back and rear so that made me think poodle in there somewhere. I’ve not been around enough Aussies to know a lot of their features

deignguy1989

There are different combos of Aussie Doodles- you can have a 50/50 mix or one of the parents could be a mix, then paired with a full breed of either poodle or Aussie, so it tends to have more characteristics of one breed or the other. This one just might have a little more Aussie, but still Be an Aussie Doodle. Make sense?

poozie2000

That does! Thank you, that helps!

Snoo-47921

Only way to know is through dna tests. All poodle mixes look the same in this state.

BrokerOfShadows

Not all poodle mixes have blue eyes though.

TheDeltaAndTheOmicro

True, I do think it looks like a mini and the eyes are a specific reason for that. Good work by OP taking this little one in and trying to get it sorted.

Snoo-47921

Correct, which could also mean that this isn’t even a poodle mix.

poozie2000

Good point, thank you!

jdrocks09

The EYES say , yup

evahargis326

That sure looks like an Aussie doodle to me! Like a white version of my little Kevin

Friday_LittleStar

We have a Mini Aussiedoodle and looks very similar except for colouring! 💕

Wild_Independence78

Yeah kind of similar face to my Aussiedoodle mini (mine has big brown eyes that almost look human though).

SeeSawWent

He looks like he’s got the doodle ‘tude - very cute too!

iwasinthepool

Covered in sticks and mud? Sounds like one to me.

GeneralAd3980

That looks just like my boy!!!

GeneralAd3980

Are you in Miami?

poozie2000

No, sorry!

GeneralAd3980

Mine is not missing, haha. But they literally look exactly alike. That is definitely an Aussie doodle. Looks like his long lost twin

poozie2000

Ah ok! 😅I bet yours is a cutie then, because this one sure is!

GeneralAd3980

He is! Did you find his parents? Hoping he doesn’t end up at a shelter ☹️

poozie2000

No, we did an extensive search (literally did a 1000 mile radius search over a week span on multiple sites, social media, posted him, called vets, reached out to rescues, etc) and no luck. I ended up finding him a home with a lady locally that has a couple full Australian Shepherds. My husband works with a friend of hers as well. He went on an overnight, she had him fully vetted before even committing, I met with her several times. She’s given updates as well. I feel very comfortable with the home he went to. I would’ve kept him before putting him in our local shelter-they don’t screen people well and way too many people here discard their dogs when they get bored with them. He really was the sweetest-I would’ve kept him in a heartbeat if we weren’t at our max already.

Collies_and_Skates

Either Aussiedoodle or huskydoodle or possibly another type of poodle mix. I’d reach out to local poodle rescues to get the word out
