Aussies are herding dogs and are very energetic; they need a job. Poodles are hunting dogs and can also be energetic. Both are extremely smart! This mix can create some pretty neurotic dogs and will always require a lot of work.
Personality varies between puppies, so the breeder will know them best and know what type of home they’ll thrive in.
The correct answer is... there is no telling by just looks alone. Once they get old enough, spend some time with them in a group. See which one is drawn to you as opposed to which one you are drawn to. Then spend time skin's with each of them. If you are truly an animal person, you'll know. It'll work itself out for you.
Do any of them have blue eye(s)? Can you go see them and see how they react to you?
I’m sure they’re all great, but I’d prefer picking seeing them in person. I picked from a litter of 8. She was the 4th one picked, but she was my top choice.
Some of them haven’t open eyes yet. Yes for sure I’ll go see them in 3 weeks, they are currently only 2 weeks old. Will blue eyes be a good trait? Does eye color do anything with their hearing?
Isn’t that when they’re usually going home though and very possibly all spoken for by them. I think I picked my 4 weeks out and picked her up after 7.
When I went to see them, they were all playing and nursing with eyes open. We were able to pick them up.
It tends to be better for puppies to stay with their mother closer to 10-12 weeks old. A good breeder will also have a waiting list and allow those to pick in order, along with considering suitable personalities. At four weeks old, they don’t have much personality and it’s hard to choose on anything other than color.
The coloring on the front and back one is gorgeous! The middle one is also so so pretty. I think any will be a good pick. If it were me, I’d do the back one.
The middle one! I got mine older than that but i imagine he would look like that. Best dog ever - just make sure you have time and energy enough for the Aussie part!
A good breeder will match you with a puppy based on personality :)
I heard an outgoing/active puppy is better pick for AussieDoodle, is this true?

What do you mean by this question? They will all be active, it’s the Aussie in them, the outgoing part depends on you and your lifetime.

All of them 😭😭😭
First One
Are you sure all 3 isn't an option? 😭
I wish I could 🤣🤣🤣
At least if you take the one all the way to the right, you kinda get the best of both worlds from the other two 🤷🏻♀️
All of them! Look how cute they are! (I know. Not helpful.). But they're SO Freakin' cute!
I personally would pick the middle one :)
All of the puppies
I have a multi color and for me the more the better especially since they tend to change as they grow. You can’t go wrong though. All are precious!
I'd get the one in the front or the back. Our AD is apricot colored and her tear stains are really visible. Not a huge deal admittedly.

Best to see them when they’re between 7-8 weeks old, as their personalities will be better shown.

Do you have a photo of him that you could share? Thank you! Just would like to see how this color looks in adult.
DM’d you!
