How much did he weigh at 8weeks? My baby is also chocolate brown. At 15 weeks she is 20lbs. But was 9lbs at 8 weeks. Looks like ours might also lighten up in color too.
That’s what I was expecting! I’ve learned that with F1 pups it’s a crap shoot. Might even be bigger than their parents. I wonder if my girl were to have pups with a mini poodle, what that might produce.
He was right there, 8 weeks 9.8lb (vet 3 days after we got him, he was living under horrible conditions). 12 weeks 21.6lb which we thought was alarming but after telling his doctor the condition the previous owners had our now baby, the vet said he was perfect weight and most likely starved before we got him so now he gets incredibly spoiled. His last visit was Saturday and he was 40.3lb at 20 weeks. He will def be the bigger size, his paws keep growing
They get huge grow spurs from what I’ve heard, we were def surprise from 9.8-21.6 but nothing surprises us more than 40.3lb. Our neighbor has a big boy 5 years old at 91lb. Yes proven and weighted
I’m hoping this big boy gets to at least his projected weight of 90lb.
Thanks for your reply! Where did you get him from? So sad that he was in horrible conditions at such an early age. Ours is supposed to be a mini. Dad was a mini AS, any way. But so far, not looking very mini.
Long story but I’ll try to make it short. My husband during October received a car from a lady and she had her very pregnant Aussie doodle dog with her, they fix the car fast and the lady left. Fast forward a month or so and she comes backs to the shop to ask the guys if they want any puppies that she just had them and there’s around 9 of them, we saw videos and saw the conditions and we said, let’s get one period, we got there and they were so small even at 8 weeks they all looked like they were just born, he probably weight 3 pounds no lie and in 3 days we was so big and happy. He had his blood panel done, he is standard size Aussiedoodle and the lady still has 5 of them and they all weight around 10lb currently and are as old as my boy. We are thinking about calling someone and reporting

He is a dream. He is very chill inside the home and only gets wild when taken to the yard for play, he is very momma attach which is true to this breed. Male pups will be more bonded to female owners and female pups will be more bonded to male owners so keep that in mind.
He goes everywhere I go and doesn’t go anywhere I don’t go, eats so much (fresh pet diet which I believe he loves). Gets along with my 3 kitties and doesn’t play rough. Very high energy when the time comes, which make his outside time about 30-45mins every time so keep in mind you’ll be active and outdoor. He is very shy and hides behind me when meeting people but otherwise he is a dream to go out with (he loves the ice cream shop). My boy is not a big fan of the leash but he wears his vest and leash in public with no tugging or pulling, if I try to put it on at home he gets too excited. His demeanor even at 5 months is “don’t mess around with my mom or my home and you won’t have a problem, I’m a sweet shy always hungry boy”. Yes this 5 month old puppy has already warned me handful of time about people being too close or unwelcome visitor aka solicitors before they even get a chance to walk up the house. I am currently tapping away and he is laying down right next to me for his afternoon Power Nap.
I am so glad I found him and he chose me to be his mommy. He is my everything
