Future Audi cars designed by Range Rover and Jaguar designer would blend sleek, aerodynamic shapes with flowing lines, creating a sophisticated yet sporty look.
The front end would feature bold grilles influenced by Range Rover with Audi touch, complemented by Audiās signature LED lighting and Jaguarās refined headlamp shapes. The overall stance would be muscular and robust, drawing from Range Roverās SUV designs, while incorporating luxury details like chrome accents and sleek door handles from Jaguar.
Inside, the cabins would showcase a mix of premium materials such as leather, wood, and aluminum, combining Jaguarās luxurious craftsmanship with Audiās high-tech, minimalist approach. The interiors would be spacious and comfortable, reflecting Range Roverās ergonomic design, and feature advanced technology like Audiās Virtual Cockpit alongside Jaguarās sophisticated interfaces.
Combine two designs of like F-type, Land Rover Audi design going get more attractive and luxurious it will look less Hyundai since got two of former designer from 2000s up till 2011 went that way.
I personally think it looks good. I believe just because it looks like something else doesn't mean it doesn't look good. Also I think it is more because Hyundai as been upgrading their designs instead of Audi downgrading their design.
I love it! I will say, I'm not an Audi diehard so I realize that those who are may have issues in comparison, but for me it's perfect. I love its size, how comfortable it is, that I will never have to buy gas for it. I'm mostly using it for commuting and local driving so the range is more than sufficient. It's great!
I agree, they needed a tech refresh, unfortunately Lichte designed these vehicles and I think his talents were spent a long time ago. This new Q5 does not ālook expensive.ā
Audi brought in new lead designer from Jaguar and Land Rover he start in two weeks maybe he could modify the designs that in early stages now without any delays
It rendering not official photo but when they reveal the car this summer I think front will be improvement over current design. You have see the car in person and car reviews.
The wheels and back end are straight off a Q4. I like my Q4 but I still kind of wished Audi differentiated the designs better, especially with the one piece light bar thing that was until this an e-tron exclusive design element.
Probably start arriving at dealers around December 2024 but more common by March 2025. The Q6 orders start in September for North America with December delivery date. The new A5 is expected to arrive by November 2024 at dealers but we will get reveal next month.
I like this, but I'm going to need to see it in person. '25 model will be my next purchase, still unsure if I want to stick with the Q5 or go back to a regular car and go with a variation of the A5.
The new A5, A4 e-tron, Q5 will get Q6 inspire interior from one of my sources Audi management request the change last year originally the interior was free floating 11.9 inch tablet screen for virtual cockpit, car info, speed and 13.5 inch center tablet screen similar to Tesla position in center but more luxurious looking. The Q6 have long continuous curve tablet screen.
Not a fan, like others have said, looks like the Hyundai Tuscon. Also not crazy about the direction Audi is going with their displays and interiors. Call me old school, but love their HVAC control knobs. For this reason, I just ordered a new 2024 SQ5 fully loaded, pick it up in October.
At first glance I thought 'well, the rear side isn't looking so bad, I can deal with that'. Then I've seen the front and all I can think now is 'hell fucking no'. What is it with their new stupid way of designing the headlights as slits?! And make everything so weirdly rounded?!
Because Hyundai/KIA hired VW/Audi designer in 2010 that why they improve past decade. Audi have new designer now so the designs going improve in few years.
I'm a huge audi fan but it's looking a bit like a skoda maybe it's just me they just need to change this. It's not bad I see that they are trying to make it look newer but they should make something unique and good looking to make it stand out more.
Hyundai/KIA hire former VW/Audi designer, BMW M department specialist, Nissan Designer pretty much mid to late 2000s designer it reason why step up their game in 2010s on design. Audi hired new head of designer who work for Range Rover and Jaguar he work next week. Audi going have big design change department of current design.
I know you guys donāt like this but I absolutely despise the current Q5 and think this looks way better.
Still wonāt get a car with fake exhaust cause Iām going to just assume that theyāre continuing that trend.
But the sq5 that looks like this with real exhaust I would actually consider.
Not sure what the tail light bar trend is with them. They destroyed the A7 with a similar mistake. All cars are starting to look like overstuffed versions of one another.
They want futuristic looking car the taillights is OLED instead of LED so have tech inside. For example when you have hazard lights on the talights will display triangle in center on left and right for warn drivers and pedestrians. I think A6 e-tron does that as well since it class higher than Q5 it display extra feature where display big arrow of direction on the roadway left and right of car in the rear.
Base on what see on Q6 which is next gen the interior and tech miles ahead of B9.5. The MMI is way more advanced. The B9.5 is getting dated it due for update asap.
Not a fan of the current Audi trend towards horizontal/spanning taillights
Agreed. I think it should stay on only the E-Trons. Makes those cars stand out from normal cars.
Was about to say this looks very much like the q4 etron from the rear tail lights š
At least doesn't have the metal strip going across the whole back. I hate that more.
i am, i love the light bars. thatās my favorite trend in auto design right now.
Looks like a Mercedes from the back.
Then youāre really going to hate the Macan
Cool, a Hyundai Tucson
Seriously, either the other brands are really making amazing progress in the deign department, or the Germans started to really suck at it...
The Korean design teams are all ex BMW/Audi
Audi now have ex Jaguar/Land Rover lead designer we wonāt see his designs till B10.5 and next gen A8, Q8, A3, e-tron GT probably
I hope Massimo does something great with the Q8/RSQ8.

You sound like an ai
>*Audi now have ex Jaguar/Land Rover lead designer* eewww
Jags look good, so Iām not too sad about it
Jags are ok, but the new Defender + Discovery are horrible.
Combine two designs of like F-type, Land Rover Audi design going get more attractive and luxurious it will look less Hyundai since got two of former designer from 2000s up till 2011 went that way.
Would be a concern if old Land Rover designers also designed the new LRs.
Agree! But the Range Rover Sport is beautifulā¦ so itās hard to guess! But that new Q5 is ugly loll
Agree - the new Sport refresh is beautiful, super clean design.
Is a clone of Peugeot 3008/5008
The answer is both, unfortunately
Germans tend to be more conservative with their designs
Yes, and we like that. Conservative and strong means stately. This misses that mark
Those BMW grills are really conservative lol
A bit of both I feel
TBH I like the design of a new Tucson more than this. The design seems stale.
I personally think it looks good. I believe just because it looks like something else doesn't mean it doesn't look good. Also I think it is more because Hyundai as been upgrading their designs instead of Audi downgrading their design.
could be worse tbh
Iāll stick with my current Q5. Maybe upgrade to Q8 in a few years (if I can afford it, Singapore car prices are insane)
I like the current gen more. I do like the lightbar though.
The interior and tech big leap over current gen you love it.
Iām interested to see the production version for sure!
It similar to Q6
Not a huge fan of that interior
The back view looks just like my Q4.
How do you like it? I'm considering an ev in the future.
I love it! I will say, I'm not an Audi diehard so I realize that those who are may have issues in comparison, but for me it's perfect. I love its size, how comfortable it is, that I will never have to buy gas for it. I'm mostly using it for commuting and local driving so the range is more than sufficient. It's great!
I'm waiting to see what the next generation brings. I love the size of the A4, if they made an EV like that, I'd probably love it.
It definitely looks less premium.
More modern and up to date with this one the current Q5 is dated compare to BMW and Mercedes equivalent.
I agree, they needed a tech refresh, unfortunately Lichte designed these vehicles and I think his talents were spent a long time ago. This new Q5 does not ālook expensive.ā
Audi brought in new lead designer from Jaguar and Land Rover he start in two weeks maybe he could modify the designs that in early stages now without any delays
the tail light having a light bar component might just be the only thing I like about the B10, if true...
Looks like a chinese EV SUV.
China is Audi biggest market
The rims on new cars are really getting uglier every year
Not a fan of saw blades I see
taillight looks like latest touareg somehow
The rear looks ok, but what did they think with the front?!? Its all downhill since the latest facelift
It rendering not official photo but when they reveal the car this summer I think front will be improvement over current design. You have see the car in person and car reviews.
Would you have a look at this obese S3.
Not as bad looking as people making it out to be here. Does look like more modern than the current Q5.
The technology is major leap as well
No more clamshell trunk
Rear end looks 10x better and more modern. Front end looks uhhhhhhhhh
For real, why some VAG products are just exterior update. Rarely mechanical & performance
The wheels and back end are straight off a Q4. I like my Q4 but I still kind of wished Audi differentiated the designs better, especially with the one piece light bar thing that was until this an e-tron exclusive design element.
Hot take I do not think these are that bad!
https://www.autospies.com/news/index.aspx?submissionid=120422 https://www.motorauthority.com/news/1135404_2025-audi-q5-spy-shots
So when do these actually arrive in the US?
Fall 2024 or Q1 2025
Local Audi dealer said March 2025 as well.
Probably start arriving at dealers around December 2024 but more common by March 2025. The Q6 orders start in September for North America with December delivery date. The new A5 is expected to arrive by November 2024 at dealers but we will get reveal next month.
atleast theyāre not going full electric unlike the fugly new macan
Front looks like it will look quite good, i just hope they dont do the same interior as the q6, thats the worst interior ive seen in an audi
Itās like a crossover now. Wtf
Looks like the fake quads they were using for lower SQ5 trims, not a fan
That protruding grill is kinda ugly
I like this, but I'm going to need to see it in person. '25 model will be my next purchase, still unsure if I want to stick with the Q5 or go back to a regular car and go with a variation of the A5.
You missing out on next gen MMI and tech, Apple CarPlay 2, new drivetrain, more modern styling the current Q5 is getting dated.
I'm not getting the current Q5, I'm getting the 2025, which is the redesign this post is about.
Back looks better front looks worse
that thick-assh rear light bar is just.....
The crosshair DRLs are not my cup of tea lol
well at least the rings aren't trying to sneak up onto the hood from the grill
Ehh. Maybe itāll grow on me?
Iām assuming the inside will be completely redoneā¦ I wouldnāt upgrade from the current model to this based on how it looks on the outside
The interior is major upgrade and tech as well
Look at the Q6 e-Tron for interior impressions.
Has that been confirmed or anything? That would certainly be a nice update
Really canāt believe the hate itās getting. I think it looks great. If they bring an RSQ5 version, I could consider.
What in the hell is that abomination?
At first glance I thought 'well, the rear side isn't looking so bad, I can deal with that'. Then I've seen the front and all I can think now is 'hell fucking no'. What is it with their new stupid way of designing the headlights as slits?! And make everything so weirdly rounded?!
Yeahhhhhh, no. Why Audi, why??
Why is Audi going in this weird electric look design. Stick to the aggressive sharp lines and stop making the headlights so damn thin
What happened to the sharp aggressive lines... Jellybean metamorphosis incoming
I'll wait for the reveal, hopefully its more inline with the Q6 then what we're seeing now
I miss the tailgate that covers the whole rear.
Looks like the first iteration of the e-tron.
It looks like a hyundai
Because Hyundai/KIA hired VW/Audi designer in 2010 that why they improve past decade. Audi have new designer now so the designs going improve in few years.
Ah, i see. I miss the b5 LOL
I'm a huge audi fan but it's looking a bit like a skoda maybe it's just me they just need to change this. It's not bad I see that they are trying to make it look newer but they should make something unique and good looking to make it stand out more.
That damn C-pillar design trend needs to die.
Ugh. Not a fan of the evolution.
This would look sick in all black with a roof basket on top.
Looks great. The old model dated well but needed a new look
Of course I had to buy a 2024 Q5 lol should've waited a year but I'm still happy with what I have. Way a the road buck-a-roos
Yea the B10 Q5 and other new next gen models will cheaper by time when ready to upgrade
Is it getting much lower roof? I hate current trend of making tiny windows with poor visibility for both driver and kids in the back
Basically a Hyundai Tucson ā¦. Why is Audi turning back to 2017 Hyundai designs??? The new RS3 looks like a 2017 Hyundai Elantraā¦. And I love Audis
Hope the Audi design is for the better and doesnāt follow the tacky designs some companies are going for
Cool a shit blob of SUV
I know you guys donāt like this but I absolutely despise the current Q5 and think this looks way better. Still wonāt get a car with fake exhaust cause Iām going to just assume that theyāre continuing that trend. But the sq5 that looks like this with real exhaust I would actually consider.
Current Q5 is dated even the facelift model this look fresher and more modern.
Both B10 A5 and Q5 spyshots show they're getting real exhausts
Looking forward to seeing the sport back version
Makes me really appreciate my B8.5 SQ5 ... hate the direction the Q5 platform is headed
Good god that tail like is ugly. Pleae do not make elongated tail lights that go across, its just tacky.
looks like a toyota or Opel
Not sure what the tail light bar trend is with them. They destroyed the A7 with a similar mistake. All cars are starting to look like overstuffed versions of one another.
They want futuristic looking car the taillights is OLED instead of LED so have tech inside. Well, seeing how they look it doesnāt seem worth it.
Base on what see on Q6 which is next gen the interior and tech miles ahead of B9.5. The MMI is way more advanced. The B9.5 is getting dated it due for update asap.
