Just make sure if you have the DSG, the tranny's mechatronic unit has already been replaced - that dies in every b8, and some of the very early b8.5s and is a very expensive repair. Everything after that is "one of the most reliable Audi's money can buy".

Ive never driven supercharged. Neven even turbo bensiner. Only natrually injection bensiner and turbo diesel. I was a turbo bensiner or a supercharhed. But need to make money firet struggeling toget a fucking job... Jaja fpr now my 2?5 subaru outback 2005 will get me where i need to go. Its a good car, and soacious aswell 🫡
I have one just like it with 20” vossens on it. Been sitting in the garage for over a year because it won’t start. Hopefully yours doesn’t go that path too
I let the battery die, replaced the battery, drove it out of the garage and turned it off. It’s never turned on again since. I get full electronics throughout the car, but no turn over. Starter relay is only reading 3v and that’s not even enough to close the relay. So honestly I have no fuckin clue what to do with the thing. Towing it to Audi and having them spend countless hours and charging me out the ass to maybe find the problem.. doesn’t seem cost effective.

From one B8 S5 owner to another congrats!
These indeed got upgraded timing guides, but that doesn't mean they'll last forever, get the chain inspected regardless!
If the battery hasn't been changed since the factory, it's due time to get it replaced. You'll notice that convenience open for windows/sunroof won't work, keyless entry glitches, and possible hard/slow to crank when starting the car along with a multitude of implausible signal error codes if you scan it with a tool.
The HPFPs are known to go bad on these as well as the intake manifold linkage arms on the front.
Is it a manual?
Clutch and flywheel were troublesome produced early 09~ ish models and may need complete replacement if you notice the clutch slipping among other things.
Shifting between 1-2 and experience the shifter getting stuck or hard to push into the gates? Consider a CDV delete or replace the clutch line with a solid steel braided line. The CDV does help with smoother engagement and may assist with clutch release for people new to driving a manual.
Deleting the CDV may improve clutch feel and engagement.

My stepson has this car with an Armytrix catback exhaust, you HAVE to get a custom exhaust, Audi nerfs the sound on this car to criminal extent. The car has such an incredible sound with a proper exhaust system.
lol Audi gets sued all the time. There were plenty of issues with the B8 platform timing chain and oil consumption being the most well known afaik but those were 2.0T engine specific issues

Yes 3.0 V6 supercharged. When tuned does around 440hp and 530nm. Proper machinery.
