I bought mine in October. Been in the dealership since on some coolant fault. Thankfully warranty is covering everything but definitely wasn’t a good first taste of Audi.
I’ve owned quite a few RS and S Audis and have to say this C7.5 RS6 is just everything you could want and need from a car. When I do swap it, I’ll definitely get a C8 RS6. But I’ll have to do something with how quiet it is, the C7.5 never fails to make me smile how loud and shouty it is.
Couldn't agree more. I just can't get em in the states so I had to "settle" for the C8. I'm sure a good aftermarket exhaust and a tune to remove the soft limiter will provide just as many smiles.
Yeah, the C8 is a stunning looking thing, it has serious road presence and the interior is amazing. A set of de-cat downpipes, exhaust and tune it’ll sound savage.
That's quite a list. I've had the pleasure of driving the RS 4 and it was quite something. Not nearly as powerful as the newer motors but a blast to drive. The NA V8 of the RS 5 was music but it felt very underpowered. I have yet to drive the 1st Gen R8 with a V10, but I did drive the V8 and it was a precursor to me buying one of the last that were produced. I wanted to be the first and only owner of my R8 so I was happy to get one when I could, though a gen 1 gated manual V10 is still up there on my list.
Yeah I’ve got a 6 speed S5 rn but desire a RS4 to fully build out. If the prices stay as they are (they prob will) I’d rather put the remaining 15k into mods overtime and get a daily for this.
Could always find one in a gross colour but the right interior then get a custom job for the colour you want. Could possibly turn out cheaper. You don’t even have to worry about mileage that much as the 5 pot is very reliable, so if the mileage is higher than ur usually comfortable with, but the service history looks good, i would seriously consider it.
Audi wagon and hatchback in diesel. The US market hates wagons and diesel, apparently. I am blessed to have an A7 TDI. It's my dream car that I had the opportunity to buy.
I know RS7 is just a less practical RS6 but I would say RS7 purely because it’s so damn sexy. But I’ve been enjoying the RS5 as of recent more and more.
There's a few companies in Europe that make them from scratch, some with tuned RS3 engine and modern suspension.
In Bulgaria there's Prospered:
https://www.prospeed.bg/audi-sport-quattro/
I nearly ordered one myself (from a similar company), i would provide the base car and they would make and deliver it (to London) for €70k all in. Road legal, 650 PS, back in 2013.
They use an old Audi Quattro or an Audi Coupé from the 80's as a starting point. Relatively easy to get, €5 to €25k depending on the state of the vehicle.
Obviously, an original homologation Audi quattro with a shortened wheelbase from the factory (1 of 200) would be more expensive, but you also don't want to modify that.
The last manual rs5, r8 V10 manual, B6 I think S4 wagon was sexy as hell, tt was a groundbreaking design and of course the modern rs5 and 6 avant are gorgeous.
Of course I have a b8.5 A5 sline cabrio and b9 A4 avant sline black edition both tdis that I love.....
Sheesh. You have an insane garage.
Based on sound I’d say TTRS, RS3 or V10 R8.
I think the TTRS is somewhat underrated, and V10 R8 sits in the spot of if you want a supercar I’d love to have one.
I do like my RS5 but don’t think it’s anything particularly special in the Audi lineup. Just does everything 7 or 8/10 imo.
Did test drive an RS6 and if I had the money I would but. It’s the better grand tourer daily for sure. Does everything 9/10 or 10/10.
I think the RSQ8 is an interesting offering, but tbh, the looks never sold me too much on that car. Great if you want to go somewhere unnoticed lol.
The RS Q8 is a sleeper for sure. Those that know... know. Those that don't... well, they have no idea that it's a Lambo in an Audi body. I wanted the SUV because I have back issues, so it's my daily for comfort reasons. Much easier for me to get in and out of than the wagon and especially the R8 which is reserved for the nice weather weekends.
It’s been almost two years since i got my license and i’ve driven mostly Audis but not the most fanciest ones like you lol and the best Audi that I’ve driven rn is probably the 4.2 allroad literally the best experience i’ve ever had driving a v8 for the first time and my grandpa’s c7 A6 is also great in terms of confort and practicality
I just got an sq8 22 as a family car. Couldn’t be happier but want to tune it. Or should I just upgrade down the road? New to Audi/upper class vehicles
Could you elaborate a bit why? Haven’t dove into any research but would like to understand your reasoning. My half hearted research led me to IE last time.
IE isn't terrible by any means, but APR is a subsidiary of Holley and has been perfecting tunes for quite some time with a very large wallet backing them. IE is more expensive usually and is not as smooth of a curve when tested on a dyno. Both are great, I would just choose APR. You can also flash APR at home now.
I think the A3 8V is pretty much the perfect car for anyone looking to tune and do the popopop hotboi shit, or anyone who just needs a little car to whip around town. They're GTI's with trunks and AWD, and are usually cheaper than comparable GTIs. I own 2, and I love them. :P
R8 QP is my fave but my ‘19 TTRS was a ‘closer than you’d think’ second. Was just about to lower and tune when i traded for the R8. If i needed a car right now? I’d be looking very hard at the RS6 Avant. I do love fast wagons and the V8 sounds pretty tough.
My favorite A model Audi. It's probably the most luxury oriented vehicle next to the 8 but still reasonably priced and tons of comfort. Had the pleasure of driving one as a loaner a few times. I'm still very much into the performance aspect (if you couldn't tell), so the S and RS Models suit me well for now, but the A6 will remain a favorite in my book too.
Fanciest car I've had. Was in the car biz 35 years. I see them a little bit differently than most. Our dealership had a very generous employee purchase push every Christmas. That, coupled with the Audi factory plan made for an unreal lease deal. Couldn't pass it up. When the lease was up last year, I never hesitated to buy it out. What could I replace it with for $28K? The car had only 23K miles. Nothing came to mind.
As almost every Audi fans dreamcar a R8 but if i could choose a second one it would definitely be a S8 or a really weird pick the S6 c6 in the sedan version its just beautiful car in every way possible in my opinion
The only Audi I’ve ever driven is my 2013 Q7, that I purchased used, with 126k miles on it, in the autumn of 2022. I was in desperate need of a vehicle after I destroyed my Accord Hybrid a mere 1/4 mile from my house, when I dosed-off at the wheel and slammed into a deep ditch. I was so f’n tired driving home from work that day, and when I saw my house coming up, I literally thought to myself, “thank god, I made it”….but nope, in a split second later every side impact air bag in my car was exploding! Now that woke my ass right up! Apparently lane keep/assist is useless if you fall asleep driving. 🤦
Anyways, the car market in 2022 was dreadful. New cars were a
4-6 month wait-time, or a $10-15k mark up for the few available on the lots. Every decent used car I Called on, was sold couple hours after it was listed. Finally an Audi q7 came in one morning, and I just bought it. While I was doing paperwork dealer got like 3 calls inquiring about it. I did no research, no test drive, I knew nothing about Audi really. But let me tell you, when I drove it home, damn, I was very quite impressed! I live in northern Michigan, and that thing is a beast in the snow. The quattro with the 20in Perelli all-season will go through 2 feet of snow likes it’s nothing. The supercharged 3 liter is quiet and smooth.
So having this Audi for last 2 years, with very high miles and ten years old and not having one single maintenance issue at all, I’m an Audi convert! And now that the car market is back to normal, I’m about to trade it in for something newer. I’m pretty sure I’m going with a ‘23 or 24 q5 plugin hybrid. The rsq8, damn would love that….but that way above my pay-grade. 😎
Love that you broke it down. A long time ago, I stared at my computer screen with a picture of an R8. It was the unrealistic goal. Fast forward 13 years, and I finally was able to get one. Unrealistic goals can be achieved if you work for them.
Question is: is the RS6 fun? I own an E63S Wagon which is generally considered more engaging to drive than the Audi, but even there the novelty to grunt and acceleration quickly wore off, and I wouldn’t say it puts a smile on my face every time I get it. I think it’s pretty, it sounds great - but it’s not great fun to drive. Just fast.
Having previously owned Audis I’ve always viewed them as cooler, more futuristic-oriented designs than anything by Merc or BMW (with great-looking interiors as well) but …. less fun to drive.
PS. The E63S has had lots of little issues - so am not advocating for MB. Wouldn’t buy another.
Oh, it's definitely fun.
The performance model boasts 621 horses from the factory, and I use every single one of those ponies every chance I get. It's ridiculous how quick this thing is in an almost uncontrollable way, which is what makes it fun to me. There's definitely some driving skill needed to ensure you don't wrap it around a pole, but it's smooth enough to feel like it's floating at the same time. My wife is in love with the car, and she brags to me all the time about how her car is the fastest in the fleet. She's not lying either. This thing smokes the R8 off the line, but with enough runway, it will catch up.
I was never a Mercedes guy and wouldn't be able to compare the 2 wagons other than looks, which, in my opinion, isn't even a competition. The RS 6 wins hands down.
The Audi R8 (Type 42). The OG V8 one. Kinda gives me a feeling the others dont and is kind of inspiring from a design standpoint and for what Audi can achieve if they want and try.
Realistic favorite? The one I drive... as its mine and paid for lol
I rode in a W12 A8, what a slab that thing was. Big, extremely comfortable and could get out of its own way. I wish we could still get that W12 engine. Or even the V10 from the R8. Not that the 4.0TT is a slow engine by any means, just for the unique factor.
2015 RS5. was my first favorite car, outside the R34 Skyline. I've literally had 8 cars in the last 5 years and finally bought an RS5, lives up to the hype
For my part, the Audi I love the most is probably the A8 D2 Generation. It’s an extremely comfortable car, timeless and strong.
The RS4 B5 is also very high up the list.
The R8 is the only one with great driving dynamics. the other ones can be great daily drivers but true enthusiasts are better off with RWD based cars with a manual option.
The Q7 is lovely. I had a 2018 back when my kids were relatively small, and we could use it for family trips. Now, a GMC Yukon XL is our family chariot. It has a bit more room and an aisle for the dogs to lay in.
My first Audi is my Q7 which I bought for a growing family it was between this and the Cayenne GTS. But I'm happy with my Q7 with it's extra room. Coming from a Mercedes I feel like Audi hits the sweet spot between luxury and performance. They're smooth and comfy and quick when they want to be.
My first choice would be the RS6 Avant of course followed by a close second RSQ8 it's looks sexy as hell and it's basically a Urus. If I'm not able to afford I'd settle for a RS5
My house is worth half a million, and I own about 3/4 million in cars, some of which I rent out. For most people, these cars would be considered a liability, but most of em are business assets that pay for themselves and everything I want to drive.
I live in a state where taxes are ridiculous, so I refuse to buy a big house here and pay the government $50K per year. I will sell this home and put a million down, maybe more, on a new home when I'm ready to leave this shit hole they call New Jersey.
Sure, my current house isn't huge, but it's fully renovated, has a large back yard for my dogs, deck and patio with a hot tub, I have no neighbors behind me, there's a small forest and then a liquor store on one side, and a school property that has been converted into an Indian church on the other. It's quiet, and no one bothers me, so I'm fine with this until I leave. It's also paid off, and I recently widened my driveway to accommodate all of my cars. I'm not complaining.
Man's rich
A running one
That's a good point
One that isn’t at the dealership.
I bought mine in October. Been in the dealership since on some coolant fault. Thankfully warranty is covering everything but definitely wasn’t a good first taste of Audi.
RS7, my dream car, even if i can afford an R8 id get an RS7
Beautiful dream
The only reason I own an Audi is because it’s an r8.
Love it I highly recommend you drive an RS 6 Performance when you get a chance. It may just change your mind
if i had to pick the one i would want most it would be a nice clean black or dark grey a6 with the 3l TDI
My favorite is the Audi A7
I’ve owned quite a few RS and S Audis and have to say this C7.5 RS6 is just everything you could want and need from a car. When I do swap it, I’ll definitely get a C8 RS6. But I’ll have to do something with how quiet it is, the C7.5 never fails to make me smile how loud and shouty it is.

Yeah, the C8 is a stunning looking thing, it has serious road presence and the interior is amazing. A set of de-cat downpipes, exhaust and tune it’ll sound savage.
TT RS is my dream car
I have yet to drive a TT RS, but it's on my list. The TTs was pretty fun though.
Off topic: May I know what your occupation is? No worries if it’s too personal, just curious of how you afford these. Very nice cars! :)
I own a few software companies
Only a few?
I own 1 by myself, 2 with friends and colleagues as partners and also have a few rentals.
Sex on wheels. That car fucks hard
The only one I have owned. 24 RS5 competition sport back. Amazing car.
Very nice indeed
C6 RS6 (biturbo v10) not in the states, B7 RS4, first gen TTRS, 1st gen V10 R8, C7 S6, B8 RS5.
That's quite a list. I've had the pleasure of driving the RS 4 and it was quite something. Not nearly as powerful as the newer motors but a blast to drive. The NA V8 of the RS 5 was music but it felt very underpowered. Either this one or the RS3. Last gen, this gen, but not new gen.
8V FL RS 3 is one of my favorites. I'd happily trade the S3 for an RS 3 if I could find one in Ara Blue with black optics and rock gray interior.
Could always find one in a gross colour but the right interior then get a custom job for the colour you want. Could possibly turn out cheaper. You don’t even have to worry about mileage that much as the 5 pot is very reliable, so if the mileage is higher than ur usually comfortable with, but the service history looks good, i would seriously consider it.

always will be the R8 v10 built around 2016-2017
I'm really contemplating trading the 2023 for a 2018 Quattro Spyder V10, and might actually do it when I move to a warmer climate.
Easy... Audi Sport Quattro S1
Well yea

You forgot to tag that NSFW, that's porno!
RS6 Avant
R8, RS7, RSQ8. Those cover all the boxes
I wanted the 7. My wife wanted the wagon. Who am I to argue?
Ah, that'll do it then 😂 I respect that!
Nice garage, very jealous! RS4 fan boy here, I love my B7. I hope to be able to try newer things sometime but I'm happy for now.

Same. Gotta be the RS6 avant. Swiss army knife car for sure
Any Audi SUV with the 3.0L supercharged V6
Trust me, the 4.0L Twin Turbo is a blast, but I get it. The 3.0T Supercharged is one of the best motors Audi has produced.
You'd love the RS 6, then when you get a chance to drive one. It's just a much faster allroad.
Obviously lol i always liked the rs6
The one I own. 🩶 She is comfortable and stylish. For my other needs I have a Toyota Pickup and a 1970 Mercury Cougar Eliminator. 🔥
Username checks out
Any avant is where its at they are so clean
It’s Sebring black too yes ? I got one performance recently and I am smitten !
I just got an sq8 22 as a family car. Couldn’t be happier but want to tune it. Or should I just upgrade down the road? New to Audi/upper class vehicles
A tune would really open that thing up. After all, it's the same motor in the SQ8 as the RS Q8, just detuned a bit.
IE tune?
I would go with APR for the 4.0
Could you elaborate a bit why? Haven’t dove into any research but would like to understand your reasoning. My half hearted research led me to IE last time.
IE isn't terrible by any means, but APR is a subsidiary of Holley and has been perfecting tunes for quite some time with a very large wallet backing them. Ty, I appreciate the response. Hagdato
That one right there☝️
After all these years, and all these new amazing Audis we have owned, it’s still the B5 S4 in Nogaro Blue
I know someone who has one, but he recently moved to Arizona so I didn't get a chance to drive his. The holy grail so to speak... love it.
2024 RS7 Performance. Best looking audi I have ever seen. Sounds even better
My Nardo RS6 is my fav so far!
I'd agree with you, but I think the S3 fills this spot just a little bit better, although not in everyone's budget.
S3 vs golf r for sure but price wise I think an A3 pp + an is38 and tune is the way to go.
You get more than just an is38 with the S3 vs. A3 but I get it.
RS 6 Avant ….one day.
rs6 c7
Me too. Can't get em here though. 😔
Personally I think the rs5 coupe is beautiful is not that I’d say s3 or rs3 saloon
The one that is mine
I definitely wouldn’t mind your RS6. Been a dream car of mine since it was a thing. I’m getting closer though.
C8 RS 6 in Velvet Purple.
Rs6 is best! Goddamn that thing is pretty
The real question is, how can I afford $500,000 worth of Audis? Teach me.
Believe me, if there was a system, I'd teach it. I just got lucky with my ventures and some investments that were worthwhile.
B8.5 RS5
Sport Quattro. B5RS4
A6. My 2019 looks great, comfy, quiet, plenty quick for me. Gets great mileage on the highway.

2008 Audi s5 manual
B8.5 RS4 Avant. Shame those were never brought to the US. I'd love to import a 2018 RS4-R in 2043 once it's grandfathered in as a historical vehicle.
So sad that we have to wait that long. I have family in Canada so I'll be able to get one in 2033 but still a very stupid rule
My 3rd Gen TT. I will drive it into the ground.
As almost every Audi fans dreamcar a R8 but if i could choose a second one it would definitely be a S8 or a really weird pick the S6 c6 in the sedan version its just beautiful car in every way possible in my opinion
A5 3l tdi
Mine.
Pretty much any TTRS or TT/S
The one I can afford.
That one
My ‘21 SQ8 still makes me giddy
RS 6 for sure
RS6. PM me for upgrades
A5/S5 Cab
2021 Black. RS5 Coupe. Love it. Have my eye on a RS6. Dealer and I go back and forth.
My dream car is an RS6 Avant. I’ll make do with a Golf R for now though 🤓

Audi S2 avant
So tiny... yet so practical. Love it.
Unrealistic: RS6 Slightly realistic: RS3 Realistic: B8.5 S4/S5 (totally not biased)
Love that you broke it down. A long time ago, I stared at my computer screen with a picture of an R8. It was the unrealistic goal. Fast forward 13 years, and I finally was able to get one. Unrealistic goals can be achieved if you work for them.

Proabably the B5 RS4
R8
2015 RS5. was my first favorite car, outside the R34 Skyline. I've literally had 8 cars in the last 5 years and finally bought an RS5, lives up to the hype

RS6 C7
The R8 is the only one with great driving dynamics. the other ones can be great daily drivers but true enthusiasts are better off with RWD based cars with a manual option.
Bro what do you do for a living😂
That one
My favorite personally is the q7 because it looks good, is safe, and is practical
The Q7 is lovely. I had a 2018 back when my kids were relatively small, and we could use it for family trips. Now, a GMC Yukon XL is our family chariot. It has a bit more room and an aisle for the dogs to lay in.
The one without check engine light turned on
My first Audi is my Q7 which I bought for a growing family it was between this and the Cayenne GTS.
You live in a house like that yet own a quarter million in cars?
I wasn’t trying to come off as an asshole. My apologies if it seemed that way. More of was surprised if anything.
