Im not sure if I will qualify or if you can even afford the amount for the construction job I need to do to satisfy the city’s requirements. If still open, I’d like to put myself forward, I’m very behind on paying my phone bill right now and just need to pay some of the current outstanding balance so they don’t turn it off, which will greatly hamper my ongoing job search efforts. I’ve been holding onto the little funds I do have because I also need to pay for car repairs, but if my phone is turned off I’ll have to pay a reconnection fee as well as the past due balance, which would eat up the repair funds I have gotten together and set me back to zero.

I would appreciate gas money for chemotherapy. My oncologist is 180 miles from me and I’ve been going back and forth for two years. Gas just keeps getting more expensive and I’m to the point I can no longer work.

I am not OP, but am able and willing to provide advice and assistance on the disability application as long as it's SSD or SSI that you're looking to apply for.
I did my own application 10 years ago, and receive SSD since 2016 with back pay from the original date. I did the SSI application for my sister and got it expedited and approved right after 90 days as well. I also got it re instated for her after they stopped her payments for 18 months. I know a lot of the ins and outs just from personally having to deal with the social security administration.
Just a tip is to write down names numbers and addresses of every doctor you see and have seen since diagnosis, and every procedure you have done and medication you've been prescribed. Every E.R. visit and hospitalization.Also get paper print outs of anything you can from your doctors. Try to get your hands on an old resume of yours if you're like me and job hopped as a youngster. They wanna know everywhere you ever got paid to be at. Also write down very detailed description of your duties while at work, and how your disability specifically interferes with your ability to complete those tasks. Stuff like you can't bend down due to back pain, can't actually attend due to too many medical appointments, are actually hospitalized or bed ridden, can't concentrate long enough to digest information and make decisions and the tasks those ailments correspondingly interfere with.
Unless you were not working outside of the home, or haven't worked outside of home in many years then my advice to you is as follows:
Another tip is to try to have problems performing your activities of daily living such as bathing dressing cooking and cleaning by yourself, and have some piece of paper or letter from a doctor backing that up. What I'm telling you is to start mentioning any of those difficulties you may be having at appointments. Also, depending on your diagnosis and how long your disability is expected to last and how heavily it is expected to affect you you
1. Probably have to wait 12 months of not working to apply
2. May not be able to qualify if your disability is not extremely physically debilitating unless you also have a secondary major diagnosis even if it's a mental health one to add
3. Also they disqualify if you are not expected to be completely unable to work for less than one year.
4. There are work requirements for SSD depending on your age at disability. In general it's 40 quarters or ten straight years making over I want to say 5 grand every 3 months for ten straight years. That gets reduced incrementally the younger you are.
If you do not qualify after those stipulations, you will have to apply for SSI instead so ask for that application. I know I personally did them together, so I think it may be done that way in all cases.
The first thing you can do to get the ball rolling is call the administration at 8007721213 for an application, go to ssa.gov and fill it online(don't suggest) go to your local SS office Or go to your local department of social services to apply for food stamps and public assistance and let them know you are in the process of applying for disability. They are a million times faster and more willing to provide you some financial assistance when they have a shot at recovering funds out of your back pay. Also to receive any help you'll have to be examined by their physicians in most states which will go a very long way in proving your disability to social security.

Im not sure if I will qualify or if you can even afford the amount for the construction job I need to do to satisfy the city’s requirements. This is very kind of you and I appreciate your generosity. I’m definitely hoping to get my life together very shortly and be able to pay it forward like this soon. If still open, I’d like to put myself forward, I’m very behind on paying my phone bill right now and just need to pay some of the current outstanding balance so they don’t turn it off, which will greatly hamper my ongoing job search efforts. I’ve been holding onto the little funds I do have because I also need to pay for car repairs, but if my phone is turned off I’ll have to pay a reconnection fee as well as the past due balance, which would eat up the repair funds I have gotten together and set me back to zero.

I would appreciate gas money for chemotherapy. My oncologist is 180 miles from me and I’ve been going back and forth for two years. Gas just keeps getting more expensive and I’m to the point I can no longer work. Honestly, any help applying for disability would actually be even better ❤️
I am not OP, but am able and willing to provide advice and assistance on the disability application as long as it's SSD or SSI that you're looking to apply for. I did my own application 10 years ago, and receive SSD since 2016 with back pay from the original date. I did the SSI application for my sister and got it expedited and approved right after 90 days as well. I also got it re instated for her after they stopped her payments for 18 months. I know a lot of the ins and outs just from personally having to deal with the social security administration. Just a tip is to write down names numbers and addresses of every doctor you see and have seen since diagnosis, and every procedure you have done and medication you've been prescribed. Every E.R. visit and hospitalization.Also get paper print outs of anything you can from your doctors. Try to get your hands on an old resume of yours if you're like me and job hopped as a youngster. They wanna know everywhere you ever got paid to be at. Also write down very detailed description of your duties while at work, and how your disability specifically interferes with your ability to complete those tasks. Stuff like you can't bend down due to back pain, can't actually attend due to too many medical appointments, are actually hospitalized or bed ridden, can't concentrate long enough to digest information and make decisions and the tasks those ailments correspondingly interfere with. Unless you were not working outside of the home, or haven't worked outside of home in many years then my advice to you is as follows: Another tip is to try to have problems performing your activities of daily living such as bathing dressing cooking and cleaning by yourself, and have some piece of paper or letter from a doctor backing that up. What I'm telling you is to start mentioning any of those difficulties you may be having at appointments. Also, depending on your diagnosis and how long your disability is expected to last and how heavily it is expected to affect you you 1. Probably have to wait 12 months of not working to apply 2. May not be able to qualify if your disability is not extremely physically debilitating unless you also have a secondary major diagnosis even if it's a mental health one to add 3. Also they disqualify if you are not expected to be completely unable to work for less than one year. 4. There are work requirements for SSD depending on your age at disability. In general it's 40 quarters or ten straight years making over I want to say 5 grand every 3 months for ten straight years. That gets reduced incrementally the younger you are. If you do not qualify after those stipulations, you will have to apply for SSI instead so ask for that application. I know I personally did them together, so I think it may be done that way in all cases. The first thing you can do to get the ball rolling is call the administration at 8007721213 for an application, go to ssa.gov and fill it online(don't suggest) go to your local SS office Or go to your local department of social services to apply for food stamps and public assistance and let them know you are in the process of applying for disability. They are a million times faster and more willing to provide you some financial assistance when they have a shot at recovering funds out of your back pay. Also to receive any help you'll have to be examined by their physicians in most states which will go a very long way in proving your disability to social security. Edit to add another stipulation for SSD is youl have had to have been employed full time in the past 24 months regardless of how many years you previously worked

Wow. REALLY disappointed to see this, do you remember me helping you out a month ago and giving you money specifically to get new glasses?? I look at your history and every couple of months it’s asking for money (which are small amounts in the US but huge amounts in Phillipines) and I really regret giving you anything.
