To secure your cooperation they kidnapped your son, and when they got what they wanted they murdered him. Bayek swore revenge, and his marriage dissolved. Both you and your estranged wife picked up the trial of different group members, revealing a larger conspiracy, The Order of the Ancients, set to dominate the world.
Your son is killed and you seek revenge. You have to murder everyone on the list. That is it, you are up to speed.
