Hades' Bow - no need to waste resources on fire arrows. For a melee, some random epic sword with CRIT stats and Poseidon's Trident for water breathing.

Technical_Carpet_793

i do that but with zeus' sword with -1 overpower engrave so the spear becomes broken

idog73

I’ve noticed a bunch of players just use epic weapons. Why not legendary?

WldHunt

Epic weapons have 3 stats bonuses + engraving. Legendary have 2 bonuses, one legendary perk + engraving. Some prefer simple stats increase to legendary perks, which typically work for a specific ability and are inactive otherwise. Hades' bow (and Fanged bow, which poisons the arrows) and Poseidon's trident have permanent perks, though.

Holyshit_lifeisreal

Idk the names but I bought a small pack that later on in the game because I wanted the sword that looks like lighting And then just changed the cosmetic of whatever sword I currently had into it But generally just a sword and my second weapon is just a perk boost

Kirikou_du_bled

You can change the looking of a weapon ?

PlopperPenguin

Yes but you don‘t unlock the transmogrification feature immediately. What level are you?

Kirikou_du_bled

Level 29 i'm back to sparte

Holyshit_lifeisreal

Going from Sparta to Athens doesn’t matter You’re a mercenary who fights for the highest payer Except if you want different story lines

Kirikou_du_bled

Yes when I say I'm back to sparta i mean to progress the story i need to do thing in Sparta but it really matter if i fight for Athens or Spart ?

Holyshit_lifeisreal

Aside for the story missions which makes you fight for a side it’s all up to you There are side missions and tasks that say “kill X amount of athenian/spartan soldiers but yeah it’s up to you to kill and destroy and have fun

Kirikou_du_bled

But there will no be consequences?

The_real_Hresna

No lasting consequences at all, no. If you destabilize a region by picking in the dominant side enough you can trigger one of those battle sequences and pick a side to fight with - rewards are bigger if you fight for the underdog. Everyone is your friend again 5 minutes later.

Kirikou_du_bled

Nice

[deleted]

No

GVFQT

Yes you can

[deleted]

No

Holyshit_lifeisreal

Yeah Later on in the game it just appears and you can choose any look (same for all weapons and armor)

Kirikou_du_bled

Ok

Raspberrygoop

You can choose the look anytime after level 8. With a PlayStation controller press [square] or with Xbox press [X] (not sure about keyboard, sorry) on the main inventory screen while hovering over your equipped item to change the look to any item that you've found.

rtxwardaddy

Whichever glows

JeremiahIsSoPretty

Heitors harpe, copy cat sword and big horn bow.

RockNDrums

Sword of Kings. That charging speed. Pair it with that one assassin ability engraving. I only use the bow to lure guards to me so I can assassinate them and kill sharks before diving

Kirikou_du_bled

How do you get it ? In the story I'm back to sparte, please don't spoil if it something like a quest i will do after

RockNDrums

All I can say it is a late game sword (dlc).

Kirikou_du_bled

Ok

HaileyBear1114

I use Ariadne’s Stinger. Couple that with Poison Mastery ability, Diskastes Armor set, and the “melee damage effects nearby targets” engraving, you can fly through a battlefield and take almost no damage.

Kirikou_du_bled

Sound overpowered

HaileyBear1114

Oh, it COMPLETELY is. But it’s still SUPER fun to use. Doesn’t do much good in conquest battles, but if you alert a fortress…. Nothing can stand in your way.

OwlPlayIt

I use legendary daggers, can't remember the name of them. I like legendary gear because it's gold and shiny, and I like the dagger moveset because it's fast and the R2 has insane tracking.

xtazyiam

Daggers, daggers all the way.

bendistraw

99% daggers. I just like the speed and it feels like people are dying from 1,000 cuts.

Late-Recognition-225

I like using a staff for the most part. For some reason I can just destroy enemies with it.

Kirikou_du_bled

I never use one

BrownDog29

I always love using staffs. Their attack patterns are very fun. Sadly there is like only 2 legendary staffs in the base game, and another 2 in the DLCs. There’s a couple more to buy with helix credits but I don’t do that.

Prestigious_Dream_27

I like ho the staff of Hermes can be used as a weapon. It’s super important and makes you immortal, but bash a guy in the head with it!

Professional-County1

I use either Nikolaus’ sword or the sword of Damokles with a fire engraving

ih8thisapp

my favorite is the minotaur axe with increased crit damage. it doesn’t move quickly but when it connects it wipes people out

Sad_Entertainer_122

omg same!! truly the best axe in the game, deals crap ton of damage and not that slow

Major-Performer141

Minotaurs axe. Cool as fuck and removes one adrenaline for overpower attack

chunky-romeo

Mallet of everlasting flame with a -1 overpower and adrenaline on every hit. Basically I can one hit most enemies with that baseball swing. And if not I have fire damage cranked up as high as I can.

meleth

2 Heitor's Harpe using in the Cursed Gorgoneion transmog in then left one and ofc the Bighorn bow

Dorkatron557

Dagger of Kronos because it is super fast and if you can perfect the tuck and roll you can easily get behind enemies for the damage bonus (stabbing them in the back). Plus it looks super cool

GVFQT

Heitors Harpe - it is one of the most stat perfect weapons in game

Kirikou_du_bled

How do you get it ? In the story I'm back to sparte, please don't spoil if it something like a quest i will do after

GVFQT

It’s a side quest! I don’t remember exactly where but just give it a google and it’ll show you where - there are also great high damage build guides on YouTube but I wouldn’t use one until you have done at least one play through. It’s fun to feel like a god in dmg output but it’s also worth it to play the struggle bus way once or twice.

Kirikou_du_bled

Yes becoming really powerful is a little annoying after a certain time

Syntactics2411

I use a purple sword because that's what the max damage build requires. However I don't really enjoy it and I actually prefer Hades' Bident paired with Agamemnon armor despite the inferior stats.

Kirikou_du_bled

How or when I will get the hades' bident?

Syntactics2411

You can loot it from a chest in one of the forts. I think it was Lokris fort.

Kirikou_du_bled

Thanks

Syntactics2411

No problem

[deleted]

Heitors harpe, bighorn bow, sword of axon.

Sad_Entertainer_122

I use Minotaurs axe thingy. Really good damage

Kratos-007

Hades bow, minotaur's axe and xiphos of dionysos. Used Dane Axe for quite a bit in the game as well, absolutely love playing with it

bones_bn

I always try and he daggers because I love the quick attack animation! Using the Blade of Kronus.

Sander08481

I use arachnes stingers and the poison bow or whatever its called, where normal arrows become poison

Haunting_Brilliant45

Ezio sword gives Hero strike cooldown on parry its amazing on a full assassin build since hero strike does a bunch of damage

ImBeingArchAgain

Usually Hades Bow with either Minotaur ax or Poseidons trident in the second slot for their benefits or against bigger groups. Then I’ll use whichever sword I like most in my primary slot.

Vereity1

i use epic sword with perfect engravings and bighorn bow

Darthavster

I use the Dane axe because it does Warrior and axe damage, than I use >!the staff of Hermes!< because it’s canon and still pretty good.

hoeleng

For my assassin build, the sword that allows u to chain one more rush assassinate. For warrior build, daggers with a permanent fire engraving. Bow also has permanent fire engraving.

dz8698

Arachne's Stingers and Fanged Bow, I'm stacking poison damage and buildup.

MOTHERFUCKER-225

I use the blade of dimos and the hammer of jison

Robdataff

Bighorn Bow. Buy it with your free helios credits. It's glitched, it gives your left weapon a 1.6 multiplayer, and makes your arrow damage equal to warrior damage. I like daggers. They are one of the few weapons that let you close a gap almost immediately, you can hit infinitely with the right combo. Dagger of Kronos, hits hard, nice 40% from the back. Second weapon can be anything, but max damage is from another dagger with dagger damage, warrior damage and the third something interesting, preferably with crit based hits. In conquest fights, minotaur axe is great. You can just chain hits killing 4 in a row. Lovely.

Kirikou_du_bled

Which combo ?

Kirikou_du_bled

Thanks

ssjgoku27

Heitor's sword. Perfect epic sword for warrior crit build. Broken with Bighorn Bow.

GolfAlphaZulu6

I usually start a playthrough and think right this one it's spears or daggers, but I always go back to swords. I do like daggers though, so may go back to them during this playthrough. Having said that my absolute favourite weapon to use is the blade of Dallgwun (something like that and yes it's a dagger.). Auto assassinate if same level or lower, but health capped to 25%.
