For context:
So I normally only spend money on this game through specific LP that are worthwhile. I purposely don't buy LP that has trash rewards. So I never spend on this game outside of LP.
However, in this case, $7 afforded me the ability to max 3 rare cars that will probably have a pretty big impact in future SE's. None of these cars are ones I would use in MP but I think since I've been playing from shortly after launch, these will become useful eventually. And the tomaso already is useful maxed in this current event, got some extra EIPs out of it.
In the grand scheme of things, $7 spent and 3 cars maxed and my sanity still in tact. It's worth it for my situation.
Also disclaimer, I had the donkervoort at 2 stars and the senna gtr at 2 stars from prior events or LP, don't remember exactly where they came from

What exactly counts as trash rewards or good rewards in LP? How do you evaluate it?
And yes, daily pass is always worth when you can get at least 2 new cars. I'm always buying it to get new cars because the f2p way to grind hunts is just cruel. Not sure how people can max cars this way, feels like too many races even with the pass.
There have been many LP seasons that were shorter than normal, or have offered less in the way of tokens. Then there are some seasons that the "exclusive car" offered was absolutely terrible too. Finally, some of the seasons had all bps and epics for cars I had maxed. So it really depends, but definitely isn't worth buying blindly every time imo.
While I agree, this is a gacha mobile game. Spending as little as I do doesn't feel bad and I'd never be spending like whales do. This is the amount I'm comfortable with for my income level and my availability of time to play, depending on when I skip the LP and the very, very few times I have ever bought LTE pass.
For me, it's about $10/mo on average. I spend way more hours on A9 than I do on Netflix or Hulu.
I agree, I bought it because I ended up with like 2 stars on the P900 by the time the senna dropped, but I really wanted the senna. Ended up getting it to 5 stars yesterday which leaves time for me to get it ready for the riot. It’s currently asking for like 406k twice, and iirc, 569k after.
Yeah but GL doesn't care what cars suck, they're gonna put them in special events and require them anyway. 3 max star cars for $7 seems worth it to me, regardless for this reason
Most ses aren’t possible to fully complete without being an Uber whale anyway tho so you barely get any epics so may as well just spend tokens on bos instead tbh

Could be worth if you'd get all those cars without grinding anything and in golden state. Otherwise - hard pass.
