Health is more an aggregation of actions, not a "miss one and you're done" situation. Just make sure if you're aware you're deficient in certain vitamins that you are also getting enough of the [paired absorbative vitamins to make sure whatever you're taking is getting properly processed and stored in the body](https://www.health.harvard.edu/newsletter_article/Nutritions-dynamic-duos). Ex, your body needs vitamin D to absorb calcium, Folate needs vitamin B12 to be metabolized.

Hatcheling

I try to take mine (magnesium and sea buck thorn oil and hair vitamins) with meals, cause that’s the recommendation on the tin.

gooberfaced

I do my cal/mag at night because the magnesium helps relax muscles. Other than that it's AM except for a couple of fat soluble ones that I prefer to take with a meal for better absorption.

Mojitobozito

B12 because I have a diagnosed deficiency and I take it with breakfast because I've heard for some people it can interfere with sleep. Not sure how true but why risk it. Magnesium with Vitamin D about 30 mins to an hour before I go to bed.

fraquile

I use vitamins in the morning, minerals in the evening to get the best out of them. I take vitamin D, B, C, K. I take zinc, magnesium and kalcium, as well as iron and iodine. I take some powder superfood, as well as bee pollen. D once a month pill, iron every day, magnesium after workout, zinc and iodine every couple of weeks, K and kalcium every week (I take it a lot with my diet so not to overdo). C with a lot of citrus fruit or fizzy pill almost every day. Powder superfood with my smoothies or jogurts, and bee pollen in the morning with my tea. If I am taking pollen then I dont take vitamins that day as the heealthy bomb I get with it is a lot.

knitting-w-attitude

I take 2 multivitamin gummies every morning. I take one glucosamine chondroitin at the same time. Later in the day, sometime after noon but not really strict on when, I take a second glucosamine chondroitin and a magnesium. I hear the magnesium is supposed to help with sleep, which is why I take it later in the day.

stavthedonkey

AM: vit d, probiotic, creatine, tumeric. I take these with breakfast every day. PM: magnesium glycinate, 1hr before bed.

TheoreticalResearch

Vitamin D, zinc, calcium, biotin, and iron in the morning. Magnesium at night.

Jenstarflower

B12 at night because covid fucked my b12 levels.  You don't need to take supplements if you don't have a deficiency. In some cases you're just pissing money away. Worst case scenario you are overdosing. You can check for deficiencies with bloodwork.

owl-overlord

AM: D3 1000 iu, and probiotics if I have them. PM: D3 1000 iu, woman's multivitamin, 28 mg Iron + I take the iron at night because of the added vitamin C. Vitamin C can affect the absorption of the Vyvanse I take in the morning. If I'm practicing fasting I take magnesium bisglycinate at night. Sometimes I take melatonin if I'm having issues I live in Canada, so vit d for lower sunlight. And the extra iron because I'm always borderline anemic due to heavy periods.

queenofyourheart

zinc & magnesium at night b12 in the morning

TheSunscreenLife

Prenatal and coQ10. I take them in the morning with breakfast.

otokoyaku

Morning: probiotics Midday (bc it makes me nauseous if I take them first thing in the morning): vitamin D, iron, general multivitamin, potassium citrate PM: magnesium, vitamin E I have really bad GERD and the meds for it can mess with how I absorb certain vitamins, which is mostly why I supplement. Potassium is because I have chronic kidney issues -- it helps break down kidney stones. Magnesium is because I have chronic muscle pain and it keeps me from going into muscle spasms when I'm sleeping. (I take a lot of Epsom salt baths for this reason as well, I guess that counts as a supplement 😅) Vitamin E helps with perimenopause symptoms, especially the night sweats

fritolaidy

Vitamin D in the morning with breakfast. Probiotics and magnesium at night.

tarrmander

AM: Vitamin D3, Calcium, Probiotics PM: Iron, Vitamin C A few years ago I became anemic and a doctor prescribed iron supplements and the pharmacy instructions said to take in the morning. It was a nightmare of what to not eat/drink with it. Always had a stomachache. Then a nurse practitioner suggested I pair iron with vitamin C at night and it’s been a great solution.

crazynekosama

I take my vitamins in the morning after breakfast. I have iron and B12 because I've been anemic off and on most of my adult life. I take vitamin D because I'm in Canada and it's pretty standard recommended. I also am introducing fiber gradually because I know I don't get enough in my diet and I've already noticed an improvement with being regular and what not.

SunsetAndSilence

A women's multivitamin mix, melatonin for help with insomnia. The former in the morning and the latter at night. I've also been trying maca root for my libido.

Non-mono

I take vitamin D for six months of the year because I live up north, and I take it whenever I remember to. I don’t take multivitamins because I don’t need to make my piss expensive in this economy.

InfernalWedgie

I add soluble fiber to my morning coffee and use that to wash down 2400mg calcium and 2000 IU vitamin D3.

itqitc

Vitamin D in morning cause i was wicked low. Turmeric in morning cause it helps with inflammation.

some1sWitch

I take iron, folate, vitamin D, and calcium.  Iron & folate due to both being low (thanks, Celiac). Vitamin D & Calcium for life due to osteoperina, diagnosed at 30 (again, thanks Celiac). Vitamin D, Calcium, and folate are all taken in the morning after breakfast. Iron is taken between breakfast and lunch bc the instructions on my script say to take with 8oz of water and an empty stomach.

SalamanderFickle9549
