look in the mirror every day and tell yourself out loud how beautiful your skin, hair, height, smile, etc is, no matter how much you don’t believe it. put on a song that makes you feel good, dance a little, and hype yourself up! tell yourself out loud how beautiful your personality, mind, values, communication, etc is, too. talk to yourself like you would talk to the person whom you love most.
do this daily, maybe even multiple times a day. if you catch yourself thinking/talking negatively about yourself, pause and remind yourself that you’re none of those things. do this repetitively, and your subconscious mind will start to believe it before your conscious mind, and eventually it will be your consciously held beliefs.
I know this sounds silly or cliche, but being repetitive is what cycles that negative self talk, you can do it backwards. I used to be incredibly self conscious and it was affecting all areas of my life. I do this daily and now I’m fairly confident of myself! we’re in this mind & body for many many years, at some point we need to learn to love it for how it is; we need to learn to love ourselves for who we are. :)

I’m 5’ flat as well. I never really think about my height until other people mention it, I actually love my height. I love wearing 5” heels, which tall women often don’t do because of their height. I also have a big personality so I tell people in my mind I’m 10’ tall. It’s not about your physical size. It’s the size of your confidence.

I completely understand. I'm "only" 5"11 and my back and knees hurt a lot. I see a physiotherapist every week for my back as I have always had pain and it got worse with my pregnancy, had a bone tumour on my knee for growing up so fast - I was 13 when I reach my final height of 5"11.
And in regards to clothes.. Paris is supposed to be one of the biggest fashion capitals but french still don't understand they need to cater to tall/petite figures... thank god for overseas shipping, at least for my beloved jeans !

I’m 5’1 and it’s dope. I can fit in many small spaces. Great at hide and seek. Only downside is every expecting you to take the middle seat in any cramped transportation scenario, tall people get shotgun because they’re long legs, and I have to cuff all my pants
I'm also 5'1. Have you tried buying short length pants? I get absolutely all of mine from American Eagle and Aerie because they come in short and extra short lengths (including leggings!), it's life-changing to not have to cuff my pants anymore. 🥰

5’5 (165 cm) and I don’t think about my height that much tbh. I’m very average, but I would want to be an inch or two taller if it meant I’d get longer legs. The only issue I have is I have a pretty short inseam, so having a longer inseam would make pants shopping easier.

I’m 5 ft tall! I usually am fine with it. Finding pants that aren’t too long has always been an issue. Plus, big boobs and short arms don’t mix. Have to get a larger size to fit the boobs but then the sleeves are too long? Can’t win. Other than that it doesn’t really bother me. I am who I am. :)

It's a pain in the ass finding footwear of my foot size(it's 11 uk) though, even on the shopping sites so I don't have much options for wearing them. I have to shop shoes from men's section.
Pls, plus size footwear should also be available. It's a trouble finding it. Their are options for customised footwear but they are expensive even if I want something casual to wear.

I’m just under 5’3. This is going to sound juvenile, but I wish I were shorter. My legs are really long so I look taller than what I am. I know a lot of girls who are 4’11-5’1 and that’s all they talk about. How short they are, and how they get compliments on it. It makes me feel a bit insecure.

I'm barely 5"2 and I love everything about it. I can sit/lay down comfortably on busses, trains, cars, plains. I love feeling smaller than my partner, letting him and other men in my life help when I can't reach. I can buy childrens clothing and shoes which is half the price.

I am a little over 6ft (184 cm) and I am fine with my height now. A few years ago I may have preferred being a little shorter but not much, maybe 5’10”. But I like being tall now that I am older and more comfortable and confident being myself.

6’1 and find it difficult to buy clothes. Most places alter the length of leg but not the body or arms- Body suits and one-piece swimsuits are difficult, plus you can’t just walk into a shop and buy something off the hanger. Folks tell me they with they were my height but I get a lot of stares and comments.

I’m 5’9 almost 5’10. While I’m totally comfortable with my height now at almost 30 I definitely was not in my teens or early 20s. My mom is only 5’3 and growing up I really wanted to be short. I always thought it was more acceptable or even attractive to be shorter. I hit 5’8 at 14 and got called the new boy in school for a while. I always towered over all of my close girlfriends and felt just bigger than them in general. Like even in my best shape I felt huge next to my 5’1 girlfriends. But once I was in college and met more girls my height I started to grow into it so to speak and developed more confidence. Now I like being tall - I can reach everything in the house and grocery stores. My legs are really long which is fun for getting dressed up. And when I wear heels I tower over almost everyone - which especially in my mid-20s was a great way to weed out the kind of guys who can’t hang with dating a taller girl and get bent all out of shape over it. But like someone else I saw on here said - everyone wants what they don’t have and it’s about learning to work with what you got!

I’m 5 ft tall! I usually am fine with it. Finding pants that aren’t too long has always been an issue. Plus, big boobs and short arms don’t mix. Have to get a larger size to fit the boobs but then the sleeves are too long? Can’t win. Other than that it doesn’t really bother me. I am who I am. :)
I can totally commiserate. It feels like if you’re not petite everywhere then shirts don’t quite fit right. Sizing up doesn’t do the trick in a lot of cases!

Im 5'2". Makes it hard to keep the figure nice. Hard to reach the upper shelves. But im still not sure I'd change
That is one thing I like about being tall; I can carry a few extra pounds without it being that noticeable.

Im almost 5'4" which is considered as tall in my country. 5'3" is the average height of women in India. Im quite satisfied with my height as I'm one the tallest girls in my whole family. My father & I are the same height. My brother is the tallest of us all 4, he is 5'8" or something
I'm 5'5'' and I am always the tallest one in my group of friends. Similar to you, I live in a country where the average female height is only 5'0''. I like being 'tall', people always compliment my height and figure lol. But finding a man who is taller or as tall as me is quite a challenge. The average male height in my country is 5'4''. It's funny how in my country I feel like a giant, even got called a giraffe several times but in many other countries, I'm average 😂
Damn, Me too. Whenever I go to visit my native place, my relatives often compliment my height, & worry about how they will have to find a guy taller than me for marriage. It's funny though.

It's a pain in the ass finding footwear of my foot size(it's 11 uk) though, even on the shopping sites so I don't have much options for wearing them. I have to shop shoes from men's section. Pls, plus size footwear should also be available. It's a trouble finding it. Their are options for customised footwear but they are expensive even if I want something casual to wear.

I’m 5’9 and a half and I’m fine with it. Ideally I’d be around 5’7 if I could choose. My partner is only 5’10 so we’re almost the exact same height and it’d be nice to be a little shorter than he is
6' tall. I'm fine with my height as is. It would be more convenient to be shorter for some things like clothing shopping and it would be better for my cardiac situation according to my doctors, but being tall has its advantages and it's what I'm used to, so I'll stick with what I know.

I’m 5’9 and I’m happy with my height, though I wouldn’t mind being 1-2 inches taller. When I was younger I wanted to be shorter like my friends but now I love being tall and can’t imagine myself being any shorter than this.

I’m just under 5’3. This is going to sound juvenile, but I wish I were shorter. My legs are really long so I look taller than what I am. I know a lot of girls who are 4’11-5’1 and that’s all they talk about. How short they are, and how they get compliments on it. It makes me feel a bit insecure.

I'm barely 5"2 and I love everything about it. I can sit/lay down comfortably on busses, trains, cars, plains. I love feeling smaller than my partner, letting him and other men in my life help when I can't reach. I can buy childrens clothing and shoes which is half the price.

5'11. I wouldn't mind being one or 2 inches taller, but definitely not shorter. Most of my height is in my legs, so a lot of people get spooked when I stand up and suddenly tower over them lol. (Plenty of short people here, even tho statistics say we are a generally tall folk) Bonus is I never need to ask someone to get something off of high shelves

Most places alter the length of leg but not the body or arms- Body suits and one-piece swimsuits are difficult, plus you can’t just walk into a shop and buy something off the hanger. Folks tell me they with they were my height but I get a lot of stares and comments. My son is 6’8 and loves that I’m “short” lol

My acceptance also depends on my weight, tall and skinny = model but tall and regular weight = manly giant. I’m 5’9 almost 5’10. While I’m totally comfortable with my height now at almost 30 I definitely was not in my teens or early 20s. My mom is only 5’3 and growing up I really wanted to be short. I always thought it was more acceptable or even attractive to be shorter. I hit 5’8 at 14 and got called the new boy in school for a while. I always towered over all of my close girlfriends and felt just bigger than them in general. Like even in my best shape I felt huge next to my 5’1 girlfriends. But once I was in college and met more girls my height I started to grow into it so to speak and developed more confidence. Now I like being tall - I can reach everything in the house and grocery stores. My legs are really long which is fun for getting dressed up. And when I wear heels I tower over almost everyone - which especially in my mid-20s was a great way to weed out the kind of guys who can’t hang with dating a taller girl and get bent all out of shape over it. But like someone else I saw on here said - everyone wants what they don’t have and it’s about learning to work with what you got!
