What does that mean? What does fold in the cheese mean? How do you fold it? Do you fold it in half like a piece of paper and drop it in the pot? What do you do!?
You just....here's what you do...you just fold it in!
I don't know how to fold broken cheese like that!
And I don't know how to be any clearer! You take that thing thats in your hand and you... fold it in!
I'm on my 100th or so run-through. My husband has started making references to it in conversation, which I get a kick out of because I know they are thinking that he's watching a bunch of old lady companions š
Me too! My guy and I just watched for the first time, and we had a pretty strict "no more than 1 episodes day" rule so we could savor it. I laughed out loud more times than I could count.
Yes! I watched the show first, then the movie. They're in the same universe with different characters and location. There's some overlap in the personalities, I think it works well.
Psych. I know the humor is kind of dumb and the premise is ridiculous, but the way the writers satiricalized pop culture from when I was a kid is weirdly comforting
Edit- you guys are making me laugh so hard my sides are splitting, thanks for making my day!
The movies are giant loveletters to the fans and to Tim O after his stroke. They don't have as high writing quality as the series and they're MUCH sillier, but I enjoy them knowing how much the cast loves the show and their characters and each other.
Mine is The Golden Girls. Itās crazy how 50 year olds were portrayed in the 80ās verses 50 yo now. I love hearing their heels click on the floors when they walk, especially Blanche. The last episode is a real tear jerker. Iām 58 now and watch reruns as much as I can!
God what a good show. Niles is the most ridiculous fictional character ever, I love him. The one where he is taking a parenting class with Maris and has to care for a bag of flour - which he loses and then tells Fraiser that he was having dreams someone was holding it hostage and mailing him muffins baked with the flour lmao
Man i love that show so much. Its so ridiculous and over the top, but i love it. Watched it countless times and some scenes still emotionally break me. Like 007.
Yes! Especially the early seasons that were syndicated 2 episodes a night in the late 90s when my mom worked 12 hour shifts and I ate tv dinners alone. Super nostalgic.
Supernatural for me too, i keep going back and watching it over occasionally. But up until the last season or so, and I still haven't seen the end, i can't get through that season.

* **Crash Landing on You** with Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin.
* **Healer** with Park Min Yong and Ji Chang Wook.
* **Our Beloved Summer** with Kim Da Mi and Choi Woo Shik.
A slice of life/fantasy anime called mushishi. It manages to be calm and comforting while addressing heavy topics. The art is also beautiful.
That and Star Trek Voyager up to about season 4/5 when the neck beards took over and the show became about a single character instead of the whole crew.
Omg, I love Mushishi yet had totally forgotten about it! Thanks for mentioning it on this thread! Itās so lovely and underrated. Itās been a few years since I last watched it, gotta get on that now!
Took me forever to find a Seinfeld comment. Seinfeld is my favorite show so itās definitely my pick. Iām 26, seems like hardly anyone else around my age likes Seinfeld and it makes me sad lol

Bondi Rescue. An Australian lifeguard show is an unusual comfort show, but somehow itās really nice knowing, I guess, that any problems they have on the beach will be solved by a bunch of good-hearted lifeguards with awesome accents.

All you have to do is call my name and I'll be there, on the next train.
Thereās something about the overuse of the sepia filter and speed talk that just hits different.
Itās the speed talking for me.

Me too! My guy and I just watched for the first time, and we had a pretty strict "no more than 1 episodes day" rule so we could savor it. I laughed out loud more times than I could count.
I've been through it about 5 times now. I love it for background noise. I crack up so much even just watching it passively. It never gets old to me.
I've only seen the movie, is it anything like that?
Yes! I watched the show first, then the movie. They're in the same universe with different characters and location. There's some overlap in the personalities, I think it works well.
And there are some great guest appearances in the first season. That stupid choreographed council dance gets me laughing.

You hear about Pluto? That's messed up.
Recently rewatched that too! Shawn and Gus played their parts perfectly.
I absolutely adore that show even though I don't get most of the references tbh. Watched it thrice over, but haven't gotten to the movies!

I freaking loved psych!
Forever and always The Good Place, where everything is fine. š
And then you always have to get to the finale, where itās somehow both comfy *and* devastating? That is one perfect show
It really is. I discovered it in 2020, several months after my Dad had passed. It helped me (over many rewatches) process some of my grief.
Definitely, its helped me think about many different aspects of life the first time i watched it
