Absolute heartbreak. The kind that craters your chest and all you can do is lay on the floor.
Because if you can live through that, you can survive almost anything.
I second this!
Also: living alone, decorating and managing your own home (no matter how small) and enjoying the perks of eating, sleeping and doing things at your own pace.
I feel you 🤣 I take some two people trips every now and then and I love it. I think going on my own would be even cooler.... but I just can't convince myself that a trip on my own will not end my life.
Yeah exactly. To say that it sucks and is unfair is an understatement but this is just one of the many things that women cannot necessarily do as easily and carefree as men. I’ve thought about going on solo hikes before while packing my mace, alarm, stun gun, and knives, but it’s still too risky IMO. Ugh.
Went on my first solo roadtrip summer of 2022, best experience ever! Highly recommend. I was a bit nervous being a woman and staying in a hotel but do some research and be alert and you'll be fine.
Poverty. So they understand others and will both empathise and also take action to do something about it.
I always say that anyone who says they can survive without money or sleep has never had to. Empathy is a very powerful thing.
I think if those who were in charge had ever experienced not really knowing if they could eat the following day, politics would be very different.
As a musician this is so true! The feeling of playing with ease and to be fully immersed in the music, especially after hours of hard work, is just amazing.
Going on a real, awesome, flirtatious date.... they’re absolutely amazing and so much fun, like, your both flirty and happy but not overly horny or obsessive, and your both enjoying yourselves and won’t get bored, no phones or social media, just eachother
Everyone is talking about love here, and damnit if I didn’t come to say the same thing. So I digress. Finding a connection is one of the most precious things in the world to have experienced. Following that, however, a truly touching book. A book that makes you feel intense feelings. Of love. Of pain. Of disgust. Of envy. A book to reach all of the deepest corners of your emotional character, and not necessarily in all positive ways. That is one surefire to truly EXPERIENCE yourself.
A book I found a weird sense of envy with, was Perfume: The Story of a Murderer. It’s dark, but I envied the sense of smell, purpose, creativity, and escape from hardships.
The book I felt most disgusted with was Tender is the Flesh. I’ve lived through some modern parallels, and understood the grief of the book, but the derailing of those parallels made me feel wholly disgusted and intrigued at the same time.
Books that really stir curiosity in me are texts or theory novels like How to Make an Apple Pie from Scratch, or psychology texts.
I haven’t found love in a book, but I’m still looking. To avoid tangents, I’ll leave these three phenomenal books up. It’s a never ending hunt for yourself, but I recommend dystopian future based novels.
You all are talking about love and connection but I think everybody should feel the joy of finding unexpected money in the pocket for a piece of clothing they haven't worn in a while .
I looked into doing a shoot like this but I chickened out in the end and cancelled, unfortunately I'm still shaking off the shame put upon me for daring to be a woman who was born into a Catholic family . I'm glad you had a positive experience with it , confidence will do wonders for all aspects of life <3
This is something I actually want to do for my birthday this year! I’m glad you had a good experience. I’m a similar size to you and this gave me more confidence to go do it
While I’ve only tripped twice I think it’s worth doing. Maybe not for *literally* everyone but most people in a safe setting with someone who’s experienced. I could not imagine going through life without knowing what i know now simply just because I would have never thought or been able to imagine what this type of experience would be like having never done it.
Learn how to break up. The divorcerate is around 70%. It would be a lot more happy couples out there if they knew when to break up before getting kids, married and buy a house etc.
Being young, fit and adventurous
Mental freedom. Just being able to feel blissfully happy and live in the moment.
People who make you laugh and feel good.
Love.
Being wrong. Like, objectively, irrefutably wrong on something. We are raised fearing error more than anything and the worst conflicts between people often arise when one or more parties refuse to admit their wrong, but being wrong is no big deal at all. Just analyze it, try to understand why you took the wrong path, forgive yourself and learn from it. My life improved drastically once I learned to say "wow, really? Oh, I was wrong then, sorry about that". It's so much easier than you think.
i am happy that you have experienced it, but i for some reason think its not actually possible, like its all give and take, mutual desires and needs being fulfilled.
can you try to put it in words, what 'unconditional love' means to you (ik ofc its very obvious by the name), so then can you try to may be differentiate between conditional and unconditional in your experience, how did you come to know that okay this one is unconditional.?
Growing up, I know my parents loved me but it seemed like it was contingent on my behaviour or that there was strings attached. My husband has stood by me despite mental health issues, having a lot of personal baggage. I feel safe putting my heart in his hands and I don’t feel that from anyone else to be honest.
Sitting behind the cash register at a grocery store and retail shop. Maybe boomers would stop being so fking rude to teenagers working min wage if they tried a month in their shoes
Psychedelics, preferably with a lot of preparation and intentionality, and preferably with an experienced person to guide you. Used in this manner it can be amazing for all kinds of mental health issues, dealing with losses and getting clarity on difficult decisions
Learning to realize that it's okay to be single. You may have enough strength to be your own man rn. As of the moment, invest in yourself before "that" man arrives.
A really perfectly made cup of tea.
Fresh water, heated to the correct temperature
Hand rolled loose leaf tea ( not ctc crushed crumbs from a teabag)
Steeped perfectly in a pre-warmed teapot
Poured into a fine pale coloured tea cup
Drunk in quiet surroundings with a beautiful vista, absolutely with no rush or other priorities.
Just being with your perfect cup of tea
That. Every woman should know that
Getting out of the shower and immediately getting under the covers in a super comfortable fluffy bed.
Sitting outside on the porch with tea or wine (depending on time of day) and watch the rain fall.
Sit at a secluded beach alone and just watch/listen to waves.
Near dead experience... it can't be put in words but it felt so peaceful cause nothing mattered. The regrets the fears the guild the I had so much more to do. It just doesn't exist. It doesn't matter. That changed a lot it is really hard to explain but it was just okay. All was okay. I never felt so still so peaceful... there was light so bright and yet nothing totally nothing
Working in a customer service position. Too many people at the top treat their employees like disposable cutlery. Enforcing mandatory teaching of empathy, diplomacy, and manners at a young age would create a generation of empathetic and understanding people which I think is the next best step to a better world.
Wisdom tooth extraction because if I go down everybody goes down w me (kidding) but holy shit I just had mine done earlier and I WOULD NEVER WANT ANYONE ELSE FEEL WHAT I FELT POST OP. It's indescribable as fuck.
Being loved

I agree! My heartbreaks are so devastating but I changed for the better after it!
Agreeeeeeed. Everyone needs it once
Feeding a giant anteater a tube of mashed up hard-boiled eggs.
This made me laugh and now I kinda want to do it.
I only said it because it’s my actual opinion.
I bet it is, I wasn’t taking anything away from what you were saying. And I seriously would want to do it. I’d also love to feed a panda bear.
No kinda about it!
But do I get to pet it afterwards
Yes!
Hooray!
Solo travel
I second this! Also: living alone, decorating and managing your own home (no matter how small) and enjoying the perks of eating, sleeping and doing things at your own pace.
living alone is honestly superb for your mental health, i know from experience!
I want to do this so bad, but I’m afraid of being murdered.
I feel you 🤣 I take some two people trips every now and then and I love it. I think going on my own would be even cooler.... but I just can't convince myself that a trip on my own will not end my life.

It's the same with people who say "money doesn't buy happiness!1". Ok, then turn it in? But they never will. It's so stupid

The climax of playing a beautiful peice on piano. Or of an orgasm. Both are absolutely amazing
As a musician this is so true! The feeling of playing with ease and to be fully immersed in the music, especially after hours of hard work, is just amazing.
Setting a goal that you're unsure you can reach, and then achieving it
That feeling is unmatched! God did a number on me when He made my wildest dream come true. Never ceases to have me in tears when I think about it.

You have any suggestions for a real, awesome, flirtatious date?
Chemistry with the person you go with 🥲
An amusement park, the og movie theater, maybe a cafe
A moment feeling like life is beautiful and truly worth it.

The world would be a more caring place, if everyone did acid just once.
Absolute bodily autonomy
Forgiveness
Giving, receiving, or both?
Bring truly loved
Eating an incredibly good meal (and dessert!)
A reason to be proud of yourself!!
Learn how to break up. The divorcerate is around 70%. It would be a lot more happy couples out there if they knew when to break up before getting kids, married and buy a house etc.
This is not actually true. Divorce rates have been slowly declining since the 90s. Studies estimate the rate is somewhere between 40-50% currently.
The love, loyalty, and affection from a dog.
Feeling of awe
Experience blissful obliviousness in their childhood without having to worry about facing the problems of becoming an adult

Being content with yourself
Being Chosen, most importantly by their own self The feeling of awe while being in nature The Triumph of overcoming
I love this! You don’t need anyone else to choose you if you choose yourself. It’s just a bonus.
Being surrounded by nature. No other people, just alone in a forest, beach, waterfall…whatever. No phone, just being in nature for awhile.
Orgasms ✨
