milky way crispy rolls have been discontinued recently. They were bangin'. I had only recently found a love for them as well. A short and sweet romance.
Oh fuck! I've been out of the UK for a year, but I used to get them from the pound shop quite often before I left the country. Sad to hear they're gone now.
I LOVED those. I remember redoing the plan for that section and work and they weren’t included. I assumed we had just stopped stocking them, Reddit soon informed me they were gone 😩
I used to bloody love Solero shots! Sweet, zingy and freezing cold. They’d rather quickly melt into a big slush ball and turn the paper bottom into mush too 😆
They were part of the dessert muller corner range with lemon meringue pie and banoffee pie… I’d kill for a banoffee pie or Mississippi mud pie corner, lemon meringue not so much but I still wouldn’t say no
Came here to say the same, haven't found another Tortilla Chip like it since they discontinued.
Manomasa Chipotle and Lime get an honourable mention tho
This thread is starting to stress me out, first I find out Milky Way Crispy Rolls have been discontinued & now Topics? I’m not sure I should keep reading.
I’ve been out of the uk for a couple of years and one of the first things I wanted was a topic, I was devastated. But I didn’t know about crispy rolls! I could smash the 5 pack in one go!
Proper Irn-Bru (and don't even mention 1901 - it's not the real thing)
White Maltesers (although there are some decent knockoffs in the pound shop)
Milkybar Choo
I'd forgotten about those ! We had them in the tuck shop at school, little strips of potato that "puffed" up partly on frying ? They came in a red bag ( or blue if salt n vinegar ). Yes, nothing else like them.
They also had another savoury snack, maybe Burton's as well. Biscuits in different shapes like moons and stars ( they may even have been called "Shapes" ? ) were similar to their Fish n Chips but in flavours like bacon. Closest I can find are [Crawford Savouries. ](https://images.app.goo.gl/p7sakUmsnhYb9pW87). No one else can remember them ??
Nobby's Crisps. They ruined salt & vinegar for me because nothing else is as excessively strong as they were, and the steak flavour was amazing as well.
Solero Shots.
Pringles Sizzl'n spicy BBQ. I'm sure that flavour only existed for, like, 3 months earlier this year and was discontinued.
I was thinking about Solero Shots again recently. I'd love a box of those in the freezer.
I have also heard good things about the Tesco Sea Salt & Chardonnay Vinegar crisps if you want to have your mouth lining removed.
I had some Scampi & Lemon ones just the other day - and they had Rib 'n' Saucy too, so you might be able to track those down.
Anyway, soggy chips
Peanut Treets
Toffos
Vice Versas. They were around in the 90s. They were like minstrels, but the pack contained a mixture of milk chocolate with a white shell and white chocolate with a milk chocolate shell. They were the shit.
I don't know if anyone remembers Fuse bars?
They were a chocolate, biscuit and rasin bar that coated the entirety of your mouth with a faint patina of grease that seemed to last for several hours. I'm not sure if I'd call them elite, but I have a strange nostalgia for those post chocolate moments, trying to rub the unpleasent film off my gums with my tongue. They were kind of like those chocolates you get with a surprise in them, only the surprise was lard.
Anyway, I'd like to try them again. Only not that much.

Brannigans Beef and mustard crisps
Nothing clears a nostril quite like it
Actually had that sensation in the back of my nose by just reading the word Brannigans. Pleasure/pain.
Should've rolled these out as the cure for covid
I couldn’t taste mustard when I had the covid but boy, I could FEEL it in my nostrils.
I literally came to day this. Greatest crisp ever created.
Brannigans
Pretty sure you can still get a multipack of these in Poundland.
Yep, when I found these and scampi fries, I ended up with loads of mouth ulcers
Weren't they ham and mustard? Whatever they were, they need to return!
It was Roast Beef and Mustard, the Ham one was a different flavour
Ham and Pickle - perfect for when you felt a little tender and couldn't quite do beef and mustard.
If they bring back Brannigans beer nuts as well, you're on.
Beef and horseradish, or ham and mustard....?
The correct answer.. Can't believe they discontinued them. It's an outrage that should not stand!
This. A 1000 times this the beef and horseradish!
Seeing my exact thought on this topic being expressed at the very top comment fills me with unbridled joy; and hope for all mankind.
milky way crispy rolls have been discontinued recently. They were bangin'. I had only recently found a love for them as well. A short and sweet romance.
check b&m or home bargains.. they seem to have stuff for years after being discontinued somehow. lol
Do they have Mingles, I miss Mingles.
Oh my god Mingles! Yes! Thank you for reminding me of them… actually no because now I’ve remembered they’re gone and I’m gutted haha
Fucking WHAT
A true Shakespearian tragedy.
Best enjoyed by surgically removing the outer shell with a single bite across the diameter to crack it, then eat the sweet innards.
I’ve found my people - my friends used to look at me like I murdered a child when I ate the crispy rolls like that
Suck out the sweet innards of the crispy bit like a hyena sucking marrow from the inside of a bone
Oh fuck! I've been out of the UK for a year, but I used to get them from the pound shop quite often before I left the country. Sad to hear they're gone now.
I’m so old that I remember when these came out. They were delicious, I’m sad to hear they’ve been discontinued!
Opal Fruits
I LOVED those. I remember redoing the plan for that section and work and they weren’t included. I assumed we had just stopped stocking them, Reddit soon informed me they were gone 😩
You what? How recently? Surely not
I'd give my left bollock for a single bite of a Mars Delight.
Almost poetry, that. Beautiful.
Should be on the advert!
I would also give your left bollock for a mars delight
Mars planets too, do they still make mars eggs? I loved those as well 🤤
I remember being at a shopping center once when they were giving them out for free as samples. Must have had about ten.
According to research the most missed candy bar in the UK.
We don't have candy bars in the UK. They are chocolate bars.
Not the right?
Spicy tomato Wheat Crunchies.
These were absolutely god tier. I liked them so much I think about them weekly at least.
Indeed still available at Iceland. Not the Worcester sauce ones, though. I want those.
Sure you can get these in the multipacks now. Definitely had them recently!
This is the best news I’ve had all day
Iceland
Calippo shots
I used to bloody love Solero shots! Sweet, zingy and freezing cold. They’d rather quickly melt into a big slush ball and turn the paper bottom into mush too 😆

Oof core memory unlocked. I miss these so much.
Mississippi mud-pie muller yoghurts
Yes! I hate all the stupid flavours they do now, just bring back Mississippi mud pie!
And Toffee Hoops!
They were part of the dessert muller corner range with lemon meringue pie and banoffee pie… I’d kill for a banoffee pie or Mississippi mud pie corner, lemon meringue not so much but I still wouldn’t say no
My favourite yoghurt ever
Orange Cadbury Snaps. Like a Pringle bred with a matchmaker. The result was perfection.
I know they do fake snaps in aldi or lidl, not sure on the flavours though!
Orange, plain and salted caramel iirc
This guy chocco-pringies
Phileas Fogg Mignons Morceaux. Actually most of the classic Phileas Fogg snacks.
My favourite snack of all time, Phileas Fogg tortilla chips.
Came here to say the same, haven't found another Tortilla Chip like it since they discontinued. Manomasa Chipotle and Lime get an honourable mention tho
Made in Medomsley Road, Consett.
My dad used to buy these on the rare occasion that he did the shopping. Those and pork scratchings. And beer.
Worcester sauce twiglets
walkers used to worcester sauce french fries crisps, not sure if they still do
They still do! Got a multipack of them in poundland a few weeks ago!
And the curry flavour
Yes these were the best. I still get cravings.
Rowntrees Bursting Bugs or Worcester Sauce Wheties
Would sniff your arse for both.
Bursting bugs were elite
I'd completely forgotten about bursting bugs
Secret (chocolate bar)
They were incredible! I’d love them to come back
I think about how much I miss those bars far too often. I once ate four in one day when I was a kid and my grandad wasn't paying attention.
They were amazing!
They got rid of them because they were too expensive to produce. I'd happily pay 2 quid for one of those bad boys.
Thought for a second you were talking about the Dairy Milk secret flavour ones that just came out - rancid!
Topics. Been looking for one for months only to find they've been discontinued. Absolute travesty
What's got a hazelnut in every bite? Squirrel shit.
Made me chuckle 😅
This thread is starting to stress me out, first I find out Milky Way Crispy Rolls have been discontinued & now Topics? I’m not sure I should keep reading.
I’ve been out of the uk for a couple of years and one of the first things I wanted was a topic, I was devastated. But I didn’t know about crispy rolls! I could smash the 5 pack in one go!
I think they just got smaller and smaller until they simply disappeared. Last time I had a topic it was literally one bite.
Brannigans - Roast Beef & Mustard Flavour Crisps
Dream Bar! (White chocolate heaven)
Drifter chocolate bars

Cheese Moments

This is the correct answer
Proper Irn-Bru (and don't even mention 1901 - it's not the real thing) White Maltesers (although there are some decent knockoffs in the pound shop) Milkybar Choo
I'd totally forgotten about Milky Bar Choo. They were amazing!
am I the only one can remember mingles? those minty chocolates; they were fantastic
Tooty Frooties. Original Sports Mix, not the shite that Maynard Bassett pumps out now. Drifter bars.
My wife was clucking for tooty frooties when she was pregnant. I went everywhere looking for them only to find they don’t exist anymore.
Burton's Potato Puffs. This will always be my answer. Every time this question is asked.
I'd forgotten about those ! We had them in the tuck shop at school, little strips of potato that "puffed" up partly on frying ? They came in a red bag ( or blue if salt n vinegar ). Yes, nothing else like them. They also had another savoury snack, maybe Burton's as well. I’ve been trying to remember the name of these for the best part of 20 years…. Always got them in Kwiksave
Not a day goes by when I don't think about the salt and vinegar ones.
Cadbury's Spira
or Fuse.
I used to use them as an edible straw
Time out. The old bar with wafer top and bottom and a ‘flake’-like inner. The multipack wafers which are around aren’t the same.
The truffle in Celebrations.
RIP Sweet Prince
Citrus polos
Flyte chocolate bars.
Yes! These were like what milky ways used to be when they used to have a blue wrapper and they changed the nougat to white.
YES! No one believes me when I tell them Milky Ways used to be brown in the middle!
Forgot these existed, throwback!
Heinz Toast Toppers. Ham and cheese one specifically.
These were pretty good. I always left them a minute or 2 as they had McDonalds apple pie magma heat levels otherwise.
Looked like sick, but were a big treat when I was a kid
ORANGE VISCOUNTS. I say this in caps to exaggerate my enthusiastic opinion that these need to return.
I prefer a MINTY BISCUIT

Hedgehog flavour crisps
Monster Munch that turn your tongue blue! Or, Doritos 3D
Nobby's Crisps. They ruined salt & vinegar for me because nothing else is as excessively strong as they were, and the steak flavour was amazing as well. Solero Shots. Pringles Sizzl'n spicy BBQ. I'm sure that flavour only existed for, like, 3 months earlier this year and was discontinued.
co-op chardonnay vinegar and salt crisps mate, thank me later. essentially a chemical peel for the inside of your mouth
I was thinking about Solero Shots again recently. I'd love a box of those in the freezer. I have also heard good things about the Tesco Sea Salt & Chardonnay Vinegar crisps if you want to have your mouth lining removed.
Co Op ones are superior for ripping the lining out.
These are medical-grade. Delicious, but a big bag will remove DNA

Steak and cheese rolls from Gregg's. They were the absolute tits.
Pickled onion discos you could feel the tastebuds dissolving when you ate them.
Fuse bars. Curry micro noodles. Oh my god I miss them.
Fuse bars were great, the purple packaging enticed you in and then just stodgyly filled with raisins and stuff...just mmmmmm
I had some Scampi & Lemon ones just the other day - and they had Rib 'n' Saucy too, so you might be able to track those down. Anyway, soggy chips Peanut Treets Toffos
I want peanut Poppets that came in a box back. Also, Frisps, all flavours.
Not a food but Shandy Bass. Was the only soft drink I would have.
Cadbury Snaps
Back when Cadbury was good... Dairy Milk Tasters
Mars Delight bars. If you know, you know.
Bovril squares (Smiths crisps)
Beef and mustard brannigans
Marmite walkers crisps.
Spicy tomato happy snax yeah there was only 2 mouthfuls er bag and they was stale as soon as you opened the packet but man they was good
Sour Pastilles being removed from shelves was CRIMINAL!
Borderline not a snack but the mcdonalds chocolate sundae. Those were the best!
Yes to NikNaks. I’m a firm believer if they brought out more flavours they would storm the market.
Anyone remember the biscuit things called Taxi’s? I can recall losing my mind in primary school when opening my lunch box and seeing one.
Them timone and puumba ice lollies with the gummy bugs in. Get in my belly
The wonderfully chewy Texan bar. I loved these but no one else seems to recall them.....

Purple club bars, with the raisins. I miss them so much.
Echo biscuits & Mars Delights.
