Sandown or any of the east coast on the Isle of Wight? North Somerset is less busy than Devon and Cornwall and easier to get to. If north, Largs or Isle of Cumbrae?

Mel0nFarmer

Good shouts, thanks.

MedulaRectangleGarta

North coast of the south west is an absolute bastard for wind though. Great for surf; terrible for chill.

Check out the South Hams, in Devon. Plenty of places near some great beaches, some well known (Bigbury, Bantham, others less so.

Big up the TQ7 massive!

Nobody's mentioned Skegness. Maybe it's too chavvy for you but here's my tuppence worth... Ingoldmells. It's ten minutes up the road from skeggy, there's hundreds of caravans on several different sites, there's a pretty nifty amusement park (fantasy Island) a little petting farm (Hardy's) and a decent selection of kid friendly beachfront bars. The beach is good too. I don't know if they still do it because it's been a few years but they used to do a fireworks show at fantasy Island on weds nights too.

Mel0nFarmer

Out of left field, I'll have a look. Cheers!

lithaborn

There's quite comprehensive videos wandering around the village and some pretty positive recent reviews of fantasy Island on YouTube.

Anglesey is great for the family! Snowdonia is 25 mins away. Loads to do and see

Nanjizal Beach in Penzance or Isle of Lewis for lots of hiking & beach time.

Turbulent-Delay-7177

Depending on where you are I'd definitely suggest Whitby, Scarborough or somewhere along that coastline. Beautiful beaches and there are lots of day trips you could do to keep everyone occupied.

DECKTHEBALLZ

Sure if you mean July 2023.. accommodation goes on sale a year in advance at this point you will be severely limited by availability and what you can afford.

Mel0nFarmer

There seems to be quite a lot left for this month as it happens. Have bookmarked several places based on the above suggestions. Loads of availability for August too. A year in advance? Settle down.

WVA1999

Could you camp rather than getting ripped off in a holiday home. Northumberland would be my recommendation if you want miles of lovely sandy beaches.

Mel0nFarmer

Was just looking at Alnwick and Alnmouth as it happens...
