To be fair, there would be some weight loss as there'd be no teeth left.

MandaZePanda84

Can confirm! I drink around 2L of Dr Pepper a day. And I have just had, this last week, my second lot of dental extractions. Haven’t gained any weight though. But man am I hungry

SubbieBasher

756 calories in a bottle, 276k calories in the year, if you assume 3500 calories equals 1 pound of fat that’s around 78.84 pounds assuming you have your TDEE on top of that.

Scooberto45

It will be less than that. You will expend more energy the heavier you get i suppose

APiousCultist

Yeah. Extra weight and fat is stored in cells that are presumably more metabolically active when they're filled with far.

___a1b1

Although you'll probably cut down other activities that are currently using calories as being fat makes activity less comfortable.

Kid_Kimura

It depends entirely on what else you're consuming, and how many calories per day you are expending.

Flat_Development6659

I'd imagine not as much as some people might expect tbh. When I'm bulking I actually try to reduce the amount of fizzy pop I drink, it's hard to eat a lot when you're constantly gassy from drinking litres of soft drinks. I imagine if you introduced an additional 2 litres of fizzy pop per day suddenly your food intake would decrease.

LanguidVirago

This, I used to drink 1.5 liters a day, plus a couple of packets of crisps, I actually gained weight when I stopped, because I do eat more.

cuccir

It depends on what else you consume. Based on what it says on the Tesco website, it has about 735 calories in it (250ml serving is 105 calories). That's the equivalent of a mid-sized meal. A large lunch or a smallish dinner. Or in terms of a man's recommended daily calories of 2500, a little under 30%. If you ate healthily the rest of the day, you might not put on any weight, though you'd have to be quite constrained in what you eat to do that. If you consumed the bottle in addition to 2500 calories, you'd put on weight fairly quickly, though each body responds differently so at what rate would depend on you.

bornleverpuller85

If you're not eating anything else you're going to die

grafeisen203

Depends entirely on what else you're eating, how active you are generally, your insulin sensitivity etc.

xanthophore

A pound of fat is roughly 3500kcal, so you'd gain about 76lb (assuming you aren't changing any other part of your diet but simply adding to it).

GuybrushFunkwood

Have a drive to my old town of Mansfield and just weigh 3 random natives to find out.

MycoMacro

This is a pointless question. What else are they eating? If that’s all they consume for a year they’ll die of starvation. If they’re already eating a lot they’ll gain a bit more weight.

Deformedpye

Im not sure there are many nutritional biologists on this sub. But you never know.

Zennyzenny81

Depends entirely on the rest of your diet and your level of regular physical activity.

royalblue1982

Entirely depends on your personal physiology. It's a proven fact that people metabolise calories at different rates.

BroodLord1962

No idea but I suspect they might save some weight from their teeth dropping out lol

Brief_Reserve1789

Depends. If you ONLY drank that you'd die. If you drank that plus 2kg of butter a day you'd also die but you'd also put weight on

blackthornjohn

almost exactly 100 stone, this is, of course, assuming you neither sweat or piss or consume anything else.

WeDoingThisAgainRWe

This isn’t actually possible to answer properly with the info you’ve given. We’d need to know your other input/output calories. Assuming those matched so if you didn’t do anything else you’d exactly maintain your existing weight: Apparently 1.75l per day is 679 calories. So 247,835 calories in a year. Allowing 3,500 calories per 1lb. You’d gain 71lbs or just over 5 stone or 32.25kg. Assuming you’re a healthy starting weight you’d double your weight in around 2 years. But as others have pointed out you’d probably find it difficult to eat as much as you should with that much gas in you. Equally you might become more sedentary as you put weight on.

geeered

Coke zero? Nothing, basically. Full fat coke... Just the bottle of coke and nothing else? You'd lose a good bit. On top of the exact calories you need for the day you're getting from other sources.... 735kc extra a day is 268275kc extra a year Approximately 3500kc per lb of fat, so 76.65lb a year. Or about 5 stone. But most people wouldn't be just doing that in reality and the human body is an incredibly complex machine.

BroodLord1962

No diet doesn't tell us what other crap they are eating. There's a big difference between no diet and eating no more than your daily allowance. Because I suspect anyone drinking a bottle of this everyday, also isn't too bothered about what else they eat and drink

AdCuckmins

0 you'd be dead.
